I am thinking that it shouldn't take very long at all to have documented proof that the drug cocktails are working.

We have patient reports showing they did.

Is the media just pumping the breaks on good news to continue to get rich off of fear?

A better question is how long will a vaccine take.

It’s something like an 8 day treatment. Some of the mass treatments are on day 4 today. So, 4 more days. (Per trumps presser yesterday)

The patients should start showing signs of recovery today or tomorrow, I would think.

It doesn't matter. The med combo is being used.

Yeah, I was thinking 6 days until you know for sure that it is working, and then you just continue to prescribe it, to new cases, until it stops working.

It's why they exist.

a minimum of 2 months testing.

After that it becomes a manufacturing and distribution issue. That's best case scenario

Where do you get two months? Just asking out of curiosity?

We have 10 cases on our island. Compassionate use would allow the possibility of shortening duration, preventing further transmission, preventing possible hospital admissions.

But our Health Commissioner issued a cease and desist. She is a nurse with BSN/MBA.

Instead of that we are reducing nebulizer treatments and ordering lots of inhalers based on a theory of aerosolization.

We arent hearing any bad news (other than the couple drinking the fish shat cocktail out of the aquarium), that means it must be working and the msm will just ignore the stories as long as they can.

This is your BEST case scenario? The French put out there results for two studies within weeks. Where are you getting your information from?

This is my thinking as well. It irritates me that this has become political. I could be wrong on assuming benefit from small trial. If that is the case I will eat my portion of crow. If this does prove effective the serving of crow will be much more substantial for the left. Some are being denied treatment. For politics.

Your number right now is 100,000 to 200,000 dead.

Models are being updated daily, so if those numbers come down drug is successful.

Plus:
1 month to analyze results
1 month for peer reviews
1 month to analyze peer review findings
1 month for discussion on whether or not there needs to be further discussion.

Then they have completed the first limited trial and they jerk themselves off for how quickly they did it, but remind us that since they are “people of science,” they need at least 2-3 more , and a few billion dollars more before they can be sure.

Yes, it looks promising, but remember, we just don’t know yet. In the meantime go eat your shite sandwich and maybe we’ll let you outside to go Christmas shopping.

I have thyroid disease which is a common autoimmune problem. So while I’m DEFINITELY not a doctor, or good at math, I thought I had Lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis when I was first diagnosed. I remember reading then that they treated those with a malaria drug and thought it was super weird. However, I later came to understand its bc these are all autoimmune conditions and so Hydrocloriqiine calms down your immune system to keep it from attacking healthy tissues. (Joints with RA, various tissues with Lupus, and thyroid with Hashimotos).

Once this came up in the news, I’ve always been a believer that Hydrocloroquine SHOULD work (bc of that background).

It appears why the combo btwn Hydrocloroquine and Z PAC is good is that the virus imbeds itself in the lung tissue bc that’s the most attractive part of your body for it to hang out. Then your immune system freaks out and starts attacking your lung tissue. The HydroC calms down your immune system so you stop destroying yourself and the Zpac for whatever reason has antiviral properties so the Zpac does the work for your immune system while it chills out for a while.

My concern about the “trials” is that they seem to be doing them late in the game in disease process so some damage may already be done and it’s irreversible.

I’m an English Major not a doctor, but logical sense would tell me that HClor alone is prophylactic bc your antibodies are on chill so if you get the virus your body won’t freak out and canabalize yourself. Adding the Zpac if you get it seems to help the cold run its course, so long as you increase or at least continue the HCl.

Because it’s politicized now, the Ds and Media appear to have already decided the combo should fail.

Bc I’m not a scientist or a doctor, I don’t know how we test using HC as a prophylactic for a disease that the Chinese Bats just invented. But I think it’s the ounce of prevention we need while we test actual cures. In countries where they take it for malaria prevention, there’s a lower incidence of the virus.

I’d rather that the Gvt hand out Hydrocloroquine rebates for HCloroquine prescriptions than this $1200 half of us will never see and the other half of us won’t see for 6 MOs.

To me, as long as a Dr is prescribing it so he knows your medical history and so it won’t screw with some other problem- what on earth is the harm?

My God. Put everyone over 40 on it ASAP while we all have diarrhea with all of our toilet paper for the next 30 days. Seems to me to be the most sensible solution.

Guess you are not familiar with compassionate use.

Do you work in health care?

This is beginning to turn out like the Q thread. We know the treatment works, just need "more time" for the report to come out.

During that times sick people may stay sick longer, this allows for more transmissions.

During this time sick people will get sicker which may result in more admissions to hospital which may lead to more ICU bed requirements, which may lead to need for more vents.
