Why don’t you introduce us to the “average medicaid recipient” who is being kicked off?

The concept that providing for yourself and others makes one happier than being a do-nothing that needs everyone else to take care of them and their families eludes many people these days.

Why is she worried if she is a citizen of the U.S.? The Medicaid cuts are to non-citizens.

Which is not going to see their situation change.

I can’t fathom why grown adults that possibly finished high school can not come to any conclusion that there is a ton of fraud in Medicaid.

There are people out there that have retained Medicaid coverage through obtaining a job with health insurance. Why? No deductible with Medicaid.

I drive by a park on my way to work and see basketball courts full of people undoubtedly “disabled” and on Medicaid.

It’s beyond time for the able bodied to get off their arse. Why is that controversial???

Yes she is. Black people represent 20% of medicaid recipients.

Nope

quote:

Americans are at risk of losing Medicaid coverage due to the recently passed "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," signed by President Trump on July 4, 2025. This legislation includes significant cuts to Medicaid, along with new eligibility requirements that could impact millions of citizens.

Key Provisions Affecting Medicaid

Work Requirements: Adults aged 19 to 64 must work at least 80 hours per month to qualify for Medicaid, with limited exemptions for those with young children or medical conditions.

Eligibility Verification: States are now required to verify Medicaid eligibility every six months instead of annually, increasing the risk of coverage loss due to administrative errors.

Increased Fees: Enrollees with incomes between 100% and 138% of the federal poverty level may be charged up to $35 per healthcare service.

Provider Tax Cuts: The bill reduces the Medicaid provider tax from 6% to 3.5% by 2031, potentially leading to lower reimbursements for healthcare providers and affecting service availability.

Able bodied people with kids over 14 must now work 80 hours per month to keep it so look for more and more people claiming disabilities.

When DOGE started their cuts a lady i know who has 3 grown kids (2 grandkids out of wedlock that she is helping raise) start screaming about how her grandkids and adopted teenage daughter were going to lose medicaid benefits and were going to be unable to continue feeding them.

Her husband is a coach with 30+ years in the system and makes 100k+ a year.

That's fraud brother. It's everywhere.

Yet another stat that needs per capita context

Black Americans are enrolled in Medicaid at a rate about 47% higher than their share of the population.

It has gotten so bad people no longer have shame. Perfect example. This is part of the plan, it’s why they are pushing feelings and not shaming others so these people exist.

Part of that is due to people like cubbies who now attack and shame the people shaming these mopes, rather than shaming the mopes.

The other part of course is the leeches are overtaking the providers, which is why these people garner so much more support than they used to.

Good Lord, does everyone have a disability nowadays? Go get a job you bums.

There are some shitbag attorneys out there that specializes in getting people on disability. It’s quite the racket.

One local commercial here has an attorney that is helping this woman who is a stereotypical very mobile “disability” hopeful (fat, ugly, and seems to be getting around pretty well) to “get the benefits they deserve”.

I swear I hope that guy crashes into a bridge pillar any day now.

Work 20 hours per week to get medical, housing, food, and pocket money? Guess who wants to sign up for that?

As they say on the Bob and Tom show, when those who vote for a living outnumber those who work for a living, this country is finished.

Being the critical thinker you are, I'm sure you've considered the reasons why a demographic would be overrepresented in Medicaid enrollment. Oh wait, I think you have indicated before that you think skin color impacts cognition or something absurd like that.
