There is too much focus on the border and "illegals" and

Not enough focus on immigration itself and the way it is being done. This goes back to that joke of a border bill. In a way, the Dems actually made a smart move with that bill because they were technically proposing to cleanup the chaos at the border. But the orderliness is not the issue, the issue is masses coming in.
Legally, illegally, by foot, by plane, by boat. It doesn' matter. The Haitians are all here, technically legally. And the vast majority of what people call."illegals" are not really "illegal", the state knows who they are and they have been documented as "asylum seekers".

It’s just another wedge issue to remove focus from the debt and deficit and the fact that we are being lied to daily about who is running our country.

There is a legal definition for asylum seeker, which these people do not meet. So, they are brought here, and dumped here, illegally, much like people were from Africa 175 years ago.
Twist, turn, mash, knead, torque the issue any way you want. They are not here legally, and we can’t afford to accept them, clothe them, house them, feed them, educate them, and looks the other way when they steal, rape, and murder us. We are broke.

I'd love to see the numbers on this process. I would bet 99.9% of Venezuelans get asylum by waving their arms and saying "Maduro was going to kill me" and that people from every country use a similar line.

Could work with them, theoretically.
Won't work with the Central Americans leaving the gang-infested countries. That's been determined not to fit. This is still the dominant population coming across. Guatemalans, Hondurans, El Salvadorians, etc.

You are too dense yo understand this. In the eyes of the state, yes they are here legally (the vast majority). Our dumbass refugee and asylum laws are the problem. The whole thing is being completely manipulated through legal loopholes, Marxist judges, and state funded NGOs. But yea they are classified as being here as legal asylum seekers or refugees.
