Erika was a pageant girl. They typically have something weird and off about them from their upbringing. They always seem like they're playing for an audience and rarely genuine.
That said, everything she does and says seems calculated and staged. Perhaps it is a result of growing up as she did, perhaps not. Either way, I've always thought she acted kinda strange and her speech is abnormally drawn out.

She has a fairly sketchy background and its glaringly obvious that some handlers placed her in the orbit of sweet, naive Charlie.
With that said, if she doesn't pervert the message of TPUSA (and so far she hasnt despite repeated pressure from the Josh Hammer types) we should support her.

I can confirm. I dated a former pageant girl in college. She was crazy and I was an idiot… but I had a good time.
