It's been decided. He is a sacrificial lamb and has been sacrificed to the Blood God of Wokeness. Finding him guilty on all charges makes it obvious that the jurors did not adequately look at the evidence. Had they found him guilty of just manslaughter I might feel differently on this. But it's obvious the jurors made a calculated decision when they met up to decide Chauvin's fate:

"Do we convict him of just the lesser charge and risk more rioting/looting/killing, or do we hit him with everything and bring peace back to our community?"

Had I been on that jury, the choice would have been an obvious one to me - I'm protecting my family. Because there was no way I would vote not guilty and risk being doxxed. That's why the trial should have never been in Minneapolis and that's why the jury should have been sequestered this entire time. There was absolutely no way this guy was getting a fair trial.

With all that said, there's no way the higher court will save him. They will argue that there is no proof that the jury's decision was influenced by outside pressure. Heck, it's possible they don't even take up the appeal based on those grounds alone. It's obvious what happened in Minneapolis yesterday afternoon was a massive miscarriage of justice. But now that the internet and mass 24/7 media exists, mob rule has become the order of the day. It would be so easy to find out who the members of the jury are, doxx them, and then organize mass protests at their house. This is why I think many of the jurors ultimately decided the way they decided.

Two of the charges totally contradict each other. It is impossible to be both.

With social media, we will know the jurors within a few weeks and that is the reason they made their decisions. The judge was a piece of crap, too.

If just one of them implies that their safety or their family's safety played any role in their decision, then the appeal has life.

Properly presented ...it should be declared a mistrial.

City Council settlement before the trial starts.
The City declaring they were at fault.

Judge should have a declared a mistrial at that point.

Jury never sequestered and members of the jury from the same neighborhood where he was killed. Mistrial tainted Jury.

Open continued threats against the trial, jury and judge.

He will not go without prison time ..in the retrial.

I'd say it's possible that he wins appeal.

But it will need to be years from now.

Oh, so you are in favor of people generally serving time for fricked up convictions because the justice system takes its own sweet time resolving them or just this special case?

Were you alive for OJ?

A+B does not always equal C.

OJ showed a jury can frick shite up all on their own.

Save conspiracy and political arguments for the sentencing.

Chauvin allowed a POS to bring him down. Both were wrong. Some of the other Cops helping him to restrain Floyd should have pulled him off.

This turned in to a battle of wills and neither were will to yield.

9 plus minutes on his neck.

What is there to appeal?

The defense was very small, which tells me they didn't have much to offer.

Exactly, who cares. This is a done deal, cop fricked up and has to live with the consequences. Just like anyone would have to do in that situation, badge shouldn’t protect you from your actions and it has for too long.

Depends on what is considered a "win." I think his best outcome would be to have the harsher murder convictions reversed, leaving the lowest charge. A complete new trial probably isn't the best outcome, unless the remand was with just the lowest charge. There's probably enough here to get some relief, which would lessen the ultimate sentence. The odds of complete acquittal on appeal probably are very low.

Yep the super woke crowd can be put into 3 categories:

1. Purely evil - those intentionally using all this bs for political gain and power/control

2. Useful idiots - pretty self explanatory.

3. Self preservation folks - smart people who deep down totally know this is all bs but certainly don’t want to risk their jobs, livelihood, families, etc by being doxxed by the woke mob so they publicly side with the evil doers and useful idiots.

Bottom line our country is fricked. We have truly allowed the inmates to run the asylum. Game over.
