Interesting survey/poll of the citizens of the RoC.

Sorry bud, but this was a whiff … well, except for all the fish you caught.

Not really. Their problems don't get broadcast on the nightly news, but, if you know where to look, it's pretty obvious that they're a sinking ship.

There must be a provocative act of war (FIRST STRIKE IN NATURE) for China to make that jump - and it's a huge huge world shaking jump to go to war with the US.
IDC what your view of the current US military is vs the past because it's not a "boots on ground" type engagement. Like most wars fought in the future, it will be an extremely high-tech war of drones and missiles, tactical nukes (or other unknown devices), before ultimately being an Armageddon of nuke strikes from land and sea.

losing access to international markets
This. It would be the extreme irony if we fought a war with the CCP, all the while allowing the Merchant Ships that carry essential, China manufactured life sustaining goods and services to our Nation.
This is like taking down our rotten to the core DC Government, of the which we have all become dependent on. Suicide isn't a rational option.

China knows, just like we do, that our elections are no longer free and a China friendly Executive will be “elected”. They have won without firing a single shot.

Yep, B, and they also know that in 'free market' competition, their populous will outwork our spoiled and unmotivated 'purple haired wokesters' by a mile.
Given the monumental effects of the coming age of High Tech re Genetic Engineering, Robotics and AI-induced innovations of the which we cannot now even envision, I cannot imagine what the future will hold. In the near future, it will likely be "wailing and gnashing of teeth" as we endure the transition.

They don’t know why yet, but it’s quite unusual
In a perfect US military world, the units should be doing this once every couple of years in order to make their unit rosters more accurate. Medical conditions can make a Soldier undeployable or maybe even not eligible for retention in military service.
The units need to know which of the Soldiers on the roster need to be processed out the service for medical reasons.

Biden at least can blame advancing age for his shortcomings but what is Kamala's excuse? She will be no improvement to an already sad state of affairs. To think that "nasty tweets" have brought us to the brink of extinction.

I hope they do. It will separate the men from the boys here and we are at the point that we need to either win or lose. This country is almost not worth saving!
yet, you never served, and are too old to serve now.....but you are happy to send others to die right?
to separate the men from the boys
good to see you are still the same old pussy scoop from the SEC rant days.

28 upvotes. Everybody wrong.
The constant thought that China is going to move on Taiwan is weird. China would HAVE to win that and bring Taiwan under CCP control, and it just does not seem feasible for them to do.
China pretending Taiwan is still part of the country and not losing face is a lot easier for everyone.

China will wait until our dumbfrick leaders commit to boots on the ground in Ukraine, and then they'll run roughshod and take whatever they want, knowing we aren't even militarily prepared for a ground war against Russia.
Buckle up, because the world is about to change forever. May GOD help us.

An economic collapse would be the very reason China might start a war.
An uprising in China because of an economic collapse might tear that country apart. War is a great distraction.

Joe Biden was never going to do anything to China. They already paid him and have the receipts.
Posted on 7/13/23 at 6:08 pm to riccoar
I don't know, man. I think the neocons/neolibs/war machine are beginning to realize Ukraine is a lost cause and could pivot to China. But, maybe they will instead choose to kick over some sandbox.

I hate to defend that senile old coot, but his handlers at least have been sticking it to China pretty hard on tech, especially chip fabrication. They leaned on Dutch firm ASML to not sell the high-end fabrication technology to the CCP.

Which means they likely already have the IP.
He's not doing anything they don't want him to do. Don't get confused.

Would.t war with China be in China?
We would be the ones with long supply lines.
