I don’t particularly care as I’m not Catholic but he’s generally looked down upon by many of the Catholic posters here.

I live pretty far from the border. But the second and third generation Hispanic Americans I know well enough to be trusted with their opinions are unapologetically Republican. Specifically they are hard core “Trump” republicans. And their opinions on illegal immigration would make some of this board blush.
I’m talking lifted Silverado driving, “taxation is theft” type of Republican. At least one of them owns enough firearms to invade France.

I wish I could agree with you. But if that were the case, there would be no need for them to leave the Mexico that they love. They would stayed and reform it.
