I keep hearing this, but I can’t agree with it. Yes. It has contributed, but it’s a culture problem first and foremost. I’ve seen guys go to prison that love their kids, they get out and immediately resume being good fathers.
What I see more are guys running from fatherhood, refusing to take responsibility.
Today’s culture doesn’t hold that action quite as taboo as it once did.
And I’m against the war on drugs and the crazy incarceration rates here in America. I just can’t make quite the same correlation you have.

They were raised, or I should say grew up, in a single grandparent home LOOOONNNG before they took drugs or committed a crime. Dont confuse a SYMPTOM for a problem.
