I do. You're just lying.

You are arguing solely on emotion, not rationality.

But to downplay what Jan 6 was is silly. It wasn't just "trespassing".

Balking at 41 months isn't downplaying. Youre just too emotional.

No, Rog.

I've argued for years we're over-policed and a Police State emerged. This board celebrates when the "wrong people" get huge sentences for "playing stupid games" and "winning stupid prizes". They're hypocrites for not following suit here.

So, once again, you're wrong and can only argue strawman arguments.

Well, you probably shouldn't say stupid shite like this in defense of your ideals.

No, you claim balking at 41 months is "downplaying" and what he did was "severe."

Bootlickers.

I don't know about Rog, but 90% of this board would be demanding BLM types be locked up forever if they did the same thing.

He trespassed in a secure governmental facility, but that sentence does seem a bit harsh.

So secure that police opened the doors and waived people in.

But considering they executed one person for trespassing, this guy should be happy he only got 3 and a half years.

But as long as we learn our lesson, that is what counts. Don't scare the masters.

Left wing mobs took over the halls of Congress during the Kavanaugh hearings, You can look up my feelings on those.

Left wing mobs "stormed" the capitol in Wisconsin, you can do the same.

Unlike some LARPERS here, I'm standing on principle. You're changing he argument here. Stick with the script.

Were they locked up for looting and burning over the summer?

Get back to me when they are...

Not everybody is the same. Yes, there were grannies that were let in. But, there were definitely some people that got rowdy outside and inside. Now, some may have been provoked by plants or whatever (I despise the FBI for doing that), but that is the risk you take going to these things.

Did "the Board" demand multi year prison sentences for those people? I don't recall seeing that. I suppose maybe someone could find it if "IT" did.

Libs will say there is a big difference between protesting over racial injustice and interfering with the country's election processes.

Exactly.

Being part of a riot that used force and threats to get security/LEO to open the doors doesn't make it legal and it isn't just trespassing at that point.

Plus, a session of Congress was 100% interfered with. That is a BIG deal. Even during the Kav insanity, you didn't have those people forcing their way into the chambers, right? Congress was able to keep doing the confirmation hearings, right?

Who ever thought we would get to the point where we have political prisoners.

In support of 41 months. You'll claim otherwise, but your entire posting in this thread is trying to play both sides while supporting the severity of punishment.

I agree.

Sentence them for being rowdy. There are murderers who will not do 41 months.
