Just trying to figure out here that if the glaciers are melting at record pace and putting more water into the oceans then how come we're not seeing more weather systems coming in from the oceans and dumping rain on land?

Maybe they can ask God for a little more rain, and then manipulate 100 little kids to go transgender as an offering... God loves it when you do that.

Not enough upstream rain to meet downstream electricity demand.

Sounds like poor planning.

It lasted a long time. What changed last year?

Not good, but wasn't it a man made lake? Still no bueno, but maybe that area just wasn't meant to have substantial bodies of water

So you're saying ever expanding a city in the middle of a desert (Las Vegas) isn't a good idea?

On the contrary, it IS a good idea. Water is just one resource. There are many others that are required to support a giant city. Manhattan, as an example, does not have enough wildlife to support its population. Are they idiots for settling there, then? Of course not. Man has learned to marshal resources and move them where he desires. The error is not in settling large populations in a dessert, but in failing to do what is necessary to “farm” the resources.

Los Angles could be twice its current population, and we would have plenty of water. All we would have to do is build more reservoirs, build more nuclear power plants (or solar or whatever the frick), and power desalination plants. These are engineering problems that have already been solved. What is lacking is willpower.

The bible has so much stuff in it that ANY event can be tied back to a biblical “prediction”.

Fair point

I’ve never seen someone make that argument.

Absolutely devastating pictures! The West is experiencing the worst drought in our nation's history. I've never ever seen anything like this before.

Bigger problem is that demand for water in places where people shouldn't be living has skyrocketed. Las Vegas, Phoenix, and much of the LA Basin owes its existence to Lake Mead. And those areas have sprawled like crazy in the last 20 -30 years.

We'd need to find more water sources to handle the demand in those growing cities.

So it is just a coincidence it is all happening now? As it was spoken of in the end times?
