It's probably not as dramatic as the X post in OP implies.
What seems troublesome, although it is hard to digest what the Supreme Court is doing here, is that the Court seems to be ruling on a class for habeas purposes. That, more than the 24 hour notice issue, seems to be the most important part of this ruling.

Isn’t officers as judges the entire premise of Judge Dredd?

Again I would deport them back to their home counties on U.S. sovereign land at the U.S. consulates offices and they can stay there while waiting for their due process or they can leave on their own accord. This way the executive can meet the liberals due process demands and they can get the illegals out.
IDK why these people can't come in legally. Damn, just get a passport and apply for a green card, student visa or whatever document needed to be legal. Just do it legally.

The Trump admin could have deported so many of these TDA guys already had they just done it properly the first time
No doubt all of this AEA stuff was going to wind up with SCOTUS no matter what - but it seems clear that SCOTUS is pissed with how the Garcia matter transpired. I think that is the reason for the behavior of the Court - they are definitely giving deference to the plaintiffs against the Government.

This.
Every judge/justice gets a houseful and will be personally responsible for them.
ICE needs to surround their houses to make sure NO ONE leaves

Once again confirming that Alito and Thomas are the best judges on the court and reaffirming my stance.

Just round them all up and transport them to democrat run sanctuary cities. See how long it takes their constituents to get fed up. Once they are there with zero federal funding.

President Trump just needs to make every ICE officer a Federal Judge. Then they can have their due process trial when they are arrested and be deported post haste.
The AEA scheme is worthless if the ACLU and others are allowed to contest a significant amount of them on habeas grounds.
That is why the Government was trying to get away with 24 hour notice - which is what the Court said is inadequate.
Hire as close to100,000 temporary Immigration judges as you can and go about it the traditional way. The traditional way will be quicker than AEA.

Well, I knew this time would arrive, but hoped for better from SCOTUS. Now is the time for Trump to take the gloves off and do what's right. Ignore SCOTUS and remove those designated as a threat to our national security and tell SCOTUS to stop them of they can.
This is what the Marxist have been pushing for, so let's guve it to them. Let's go ahead and stop playing games and let this shite come to a head.
In whatever way it develops.
Dem/Marxist have a terrorist mentality. They can't be reasoned with. They must be eliminated.

From the beginning the AEA was an unnecessary long shot. Just use the ordinary means of deportation, and hire or transfer enough Executive Branch immigration judges to streamline the process.

You may have been right about how SC would vote...but ill take the opinions of Thomas and Alito over yours any day of the week

AARP v. Trump
Here’s the actual opinion to read.
Edit:
The Supreme Court is only remanding the case to the Fifth Circuit to determine what “notice” aliens under the AEA are entitled to before they can be removed. I would say 5-7 days notice is likely reasonable under the circumstances.
Interestingly, the Court isn’t ruling Trump can’t use the AEA, only that more than 24 hours notice to an alien is required to remove the alien. The Court also says the AEA cases have to be adjudicated quickly by the courts.
Not really a “victory” for the open borders crowd.

There's always ways of getting around rulings. Just detain the scum and hold them. Give them speedy trials and get them out.
Remember what they did to the patriots from Jan 6th. Do the same.

Interesting concurrence by Kavanaugh. He wants to go ahead and have the Court decide the issue once and for all. Probably the best route to go at the moment.
