Let’s tie up the courts and spend untold amounts of money on people who aren’t even our citizens.

It's your position but it's not the law and that issue was just ruled 9-0 a few weeks ago and confirmed by the USSC.

No serious court holds your view.

The entire due process claim is just a ploy to game the system to keep as many Biden invaders inside to country for future Democrat votes.

It's from the literal text of the 5th and 14th Amendments

14th:

"Person" means anyone.

To denote a citizens, either citizen (like the 14th) or "the people" is used (see the 2nd Amendment for an example of this from the Founder)

Again, if the people advising Trump didn't see this as a possible, even likely, outcome of taking the AEA approach those people just aren't very smart.

Everyone has to cool out. The illegal scumbags are still going to be shipped out. Being a gangbanger just can't be used as a reason.

This is a good thing. Detain them and hold them indefinitely. Let them rot.

It's the same silly pattern as the last administration. The charlatans advised Trump to do something overly aggressive and unnecessary so they play to the base, it fails as intelligent people analyzing and expect it to fail, and then the base reacts melting down and claiming a conspiracy or some form of nihilism
