This is so stupid. With he pipeline intact Putin was able to exert some control and had the ability to extort the EU countries. That is entirely gone now. Why would he give up his only leverage over the EU? He wouldn’t. We sabotaged it to remove that control and leverage.

One more thing...
A lot of pro Putin Russian media is running with “Biden said the US would do this” and “Polish MEP Thanks US for blowing up pipeline” and “Did US commit act of terrorism” all over the place. Just received a message from my bro in law in Russia and he says it’s all over the media nonstop about the US probably doing this.
It would serve many but specifically two purposes if the Russians did this. First, it would motivate and galvanize Russians. Second, Germany and the EU would not approve of such a deliberate act of sabotage by the US. It could undermine the US in relation to Europe, make countries like Germany skittish, and the least push the US to focus on trying to assure Germany that it didn’t do this with Germany second guessing its support for the US strong stance for war.
And again, if the pipeline isn’t being used for the foreseeable future, why not self sabotage it?
Not saying the Russians did it, especially given how treacherous and notorious and war hungry our cia is, but I don’t think you can rule out the possibility.

I'm struggling with two things on this one. Why was Nord stream 2 even populated with LNG vs inert gas. It has literally never went online due to lack of the German terminal never being completed. Is it normal to toss a combustible into an unfinished pipeline?
NS1 has been shut down since August while Russia has been burning off gas at the input terminal citing technical issues.
So now a month later of NS1 being non functional and NS2 never being functional but oddly loaded with LNG vs inert gas, we supposedly decide to blow it up?
Who really gains anything in the west? And why the hell was NS2 sending LNG vs inert gas when it was never operational.

Means, motive and opportunity. Now, use your words and please explain your case for why the Russians blew up their pipeline that they already had total control of from the other side. They can't turn the gas back on. They want to sell gas. They want Germans to pay for gas in rubles or gold. Who doesn't want energy sold in anything other than petrodollars?

I agree with you, but the folks in DC and the WEF think otherwise. Not only is it the money laundering, human trafficking, and secret biolab capital of the world, Klaus himself said that Ukraine was the epicenter of the New World Order.
This was totally us. It continues to push the world towards the Green energy solution nightmare that’s going to get millions of people killed, and it could start a war with Russia, which will also get millions of people killed. Either way, they potentially get some massive depopulation.
