The U.S. just declared war on EU countries by sabotaging the Nord Stream Pipelines.

Absolute best case to make repairs is 3 months with materials already on hand. Expected case, likely a year.
It’s going to be a long cold and dark winter in the EU without natural gas. Never mind the cold winter and the ensuing tanking economy but fertilizer production which requires natural gas will be halted. With no fertilizer no food.
The US just declared war on EU countries because they do not want Germany or any other EU countries buying gas from Russia.
The EU is now under the control of the US. Or are they?

Or could be in coordination with one or more EU countries in order to deny Pewtin the likelihood of extorting any or all of those same countries, breaking them while giving pootin the mother of all windfalls.

That motivation might of crossed many peoples minds in this administration but the key motivation comes from Victoria Nuland. This is her baby. The play here is the keep the European countries from negotiating with Putin for energy and enriching Putin.
