With race based admission an ongoing reality, if you want to get scholarship money for college, you have to be twice as smart to get half as much
With companies facing increasing pressure to hire more minorities, you'll have to work twice as hard and succeed much more in order to get half the opportunities.

You needa get da hell out of L.A. and come on to the interior.....God's Country. Even if you have to sacrifice a little compensation.
**Send kids to Louisiana Tech and start a career somewhere within a 6 or 7 radius. There's friendly country to be had in these parts.

There's enough resources online to learn whatever they need and start their own company. The universities are more status than substance. Teach your kids not to wait on other people and to learn for themselves.

My suggestion may be a little on the extreme side, but it's representative of the thought that there are still places in this land of ours where one can minimize exposure to all the b.s. And good schools that aren't quite as woke as the others. But it sounds like you've got it as figured out as possible. The kids already graduated and found careers?

Yep. Hell I had to work twice as hard before because I came from an economically depressed area.
Well it works been harder to get a vaccine earlier...

My talk is that there are some people out there that think they’re better than you and deserve more than you because of the color of their skin...and that’s bullshite. You’re just as good as they are and we treat people based on how they act towards us.

Anytime I start a discussion with my two kids - who are young teens - about clown world, they pipe up and finish the discussion. In their short life, they've figured out what's right and wrong, and have just as good a handle on what's going on as I do. Which is refreshing, and a damn shame at the same time.
If you think about it, it's a mirror of an adult's life. Go to school, get an education, get a job, pay for your shite, and get frustrated while you watch the idiots do their thing.
They know what's up, and, sadly, what they're up against.

As the value of a degree from these universities falls. The tax payers will complain and send kids to private schools or out of state where they can compete for financial aid and get a better degree. Just don't support your public universities.
