What if it isn't based on skin color but on behavior and cultural differences?

How specifically is the GOP cheating?

Do you believe that gerrymandering in and of itself is cheating?

I think the gist is that we should be condemning actions, not people for the way they look.

If you think all black people are bad because there is a higher percentage of crime in predominantly black communities, that would be wrong. If you were to highlight a cultural issue that seems to be leading to bad outcomes with the desire for those issues to be addressed, that would not be racism in itself.

I think it is racist to assume that a black will always vote for a black which in its self is racist in nature because the black candidate will not always be the best choice based off merit.

It's not racist... it's history and pattern recognition. I could provide an endless list of examples.

Have you told your side this? They love racially gerrymandering. They've been the only side permitted to racially gerrymander. Nerd.

Who's cheating? Just playing by the same rules democrats have been playing by for years.

The weirdest conceptual part of this is crafting the policy around parties. Gerrymandering, too. It just makes so many assumptions about the parties and society. It basically requires a completely stagnant view of both that doesn't reflect reality

What a word salad

Something that has barely existed in the last couple decades against anyone but white people.

But how else will Democrats win if they can't rely on the race-based districting cheat they've used for decades?

This case and the 14th Amendment birthright citizenship decisions (likely released at the end of June, 2026) are my frontrunners for being the matches that light the fuse on the George Floyd Memorial Hunger Games 2026.

They'll allow the blue states to gerrymander all they want but shut down the red states from doing it. This is the way everything always goes.

As readers of this magazine are well aware, for decades American society has been roiled by what we are slowly coming to see as the Supreme Court’s unwarranted judicial audacity—if not impudence, arrogance, and illegitimacy.

But cornerstones of the Black Robe Firewall like Jeb Boasberg are heroes, amirite?

Previous Supreme Court cases have made clear that such a race-based redistricting remedy was permissible to correct clearly proven race-based discrimination on the part of malevolent state officials.

OR - and hear me out - minorities are minorities and offering preferential treatment to pander to those minorities is grossly unconstitutional.

Unfortunately, the redistricting in Cali isn’t based on race. It’s based on historical voting patterns and tries to water down red voting areas by combining them with larger blue voting populations.

For example, a corner of Orange County might be placed in the same district as a part of LA County so Dem candidates will be elected, and GOP votes will be negated.
