Serious question. Would the US govt actually try and execute someone for treason today? We actually haven’t executed anyone since the late 1800s for treason. The Rosenbergs in the 50s were executed for “espionage” but they were treasonous bastards who deserved to die anyway.

Egypt & Turkey would be a problem for Israel. As good as they might be in defense, they have never been able to finish off minor league opponents like Lebanon or the Palestinians.

Turkey would smoke Israel in any sort of conventional conflict. And that’s without considering that Turkey is a NATO member. There’s no way BiBi is that dumb.

I saw a few people say earlier this year that the reason we are going to pull out of NATO is to go after Turkey. Seemed like a joke then, not so much now.

They have absolutely smoked every Arab nation they’ve fought conventionally.
Though Egypt is not what it was 50 years ago-they’re better. And Turkey is in a higher tier of capability than either Israel or Egypt. The Turkish Navy could ruin Israel’s whole day, something they are not used to dealing with.

Basic knowledge of Turkish military expansion and procurement for the last couple of decades.
Israel’s technological advantage over non-conventional forces or small poor neighbors doesn’t translate to Turkey, who plays with real NATO quality toys and money.

I don’t think we will go after Turkey and I don’t want to stay in NATO, but I’m not sure why people are pretending like the greater Israel project is some conspiracy.
