Karine Jean-Pierre, might be the first black, LBGTQ female immigrant to hold the position, but she also sucks. We’ve watched her flip through her binder for a full 20 seconds just to announce that she had no updates on the baby formula shortage.

Politico has taken a look at “Karine’s tough debut” and figured out why it appears that she’s reading from a page

And the best part, they cannot (or would not) get rid of her due to the same identity based qualifications that they bragged about when they hired her.

In other words, the highest extemporaneous speaking position in the land is filled by someone who can’t speak extemporaneously. ETA: or even wing it with notes someone else prepared for her.

More like she is in way over her head and has no idea what she’s doing and is internally panicking and screaming

It’s what checking SJW woke boxes and hiring on that basis alone gets you

This happens all the time in the corporate world. Companies make hires like this and proudly point to themselves about how inclusive they are. Then they find out this hire is disaster and have to figure out how to get out of the mess. Many times they just push them along to another internal gig than keeps them hidden from view or responsibility all the while that person is still banking that cash for doing nothing and they absolutely provide zero to the bottom line of the company. I think if many knew the depth and frequency of this occurring in the corporate world they would be absolutely shocked.

Not aimed at her specifically, but when an admin is lying, spinning, or there is just no reasonable answer for a policy, answers tend to come slowly and deliberately.

No one could look confident and sharp while answering for this government.

This woman is the poster child of what “diversity hires” look like. I actually hate them because they taint the hard work of people that have put in the effort and earned a position. In my last company we had an Asian chick that was absolutely horrible and couldn’t admit she was. She went so far after telling a physician that a product was make of teak (it was made from peak) she argued with the physician and her boss that she was right and they both (boss and client) were wrong……she is still there while the boss was let go because he was too hard on her.

Kind of reminds me of the first "black" President. Libs all over the world regard him as one of the greatest; yet, his best attribute was seemingly reading a teleprompter without too much difficulty.
