Whoa, that sounds like a man who has smoked many pots!

Its too far for me. I've smoked the weeds too often, man.

BTW - Roger, maybe everyone else knew but I did not, I'm sorry to hear about your medical condition. It's what took my parents way too young but the fact that you're doing good is a really good sign.

Disagreements aside, prayers to you fellah.

If I'm not mistaken I believe Roger is a recovered alcoholic that no longer drinks

That's not an easy thing to overcome and he should be praised for that, not shamed

Yes, you are correct, and I certainly hope that he overcomes his current medical condition.

Yeah as much as we pick on each other around here I don't think any of us truly wish harm on each other. I hope he returns to good health as well.

At this point I’m mostly fine with legalizing everything and letting Darwin sort it out.

Whether they smoke weed or drink coffee has nothing to do with their production

The question is absurdly stupid and doesn't say much about your intelligence

You seem a bit biased on this subject, but let's just say that it is subjective.

If you are a comedy writer then maybe a bowl is just the thing to create some absurdly funny and provocative comedy. In this case, your productivity may be through the roof.

Conversely, if your gig is running construction equipment, you run an enhanced risk of misjudgement and fricking shite up or potentially injuring others and yourself. Not productive. For this person, caffeine might give them an edge of sharpness that keeps their day productive. Not weed.

I will vape in the evening just a small amount to take the edge off, listen to music on my headphones and get work done when I don't have to interact with others. I can be very productive, but if I did a shot of bourbon, or two, I don't get the same result. Instead, I just want to say, frick it, and eat some nuts and watch TV. People react differently to different stimulus.

So in the most round about way possible you're agreeing with me

This is true, weed doesn't make me high. I wish it would, but all it does is help with the jitters caused by meds.

I can go through a gram a day of high thc vape products and not really feel much.

Slightly increased hunger, which I needed.

Like I said, it's subjective and certainly not an absolute as you sort of knee jerk implied.

You want to argue so badly that even if I say something you don't disagree with you try to claim it's not REALLY my opinion? Holy shite. You should probably stay stoned just so you're not a gigantic angry douchebag.

I'd rather smell weed than cigarettes. Weed mostly smells like sage anyway.

You haven't said shite, you have to find the collective to have an opinion.

pretend these people you're trying to impress are not here, now what is your opinion on the legality of weed?

I think to err on the side of caution commands a certain amount of respect for yourself and others, so a person should be aware of their limitations and act in a responsible manner to themselves and others around them.

In Rogers case, as he just intimated, he's allowed himself to abuse the privilege of weed intake to the point where he has to consume ever more and more for the sake of a buzz. He would do himself and his body a world of good to quit for a few months to regain that effect. I know, from experience, what I want from it. Once or twice a week, two hits of Strawberry Diesel vape and I'm good. Any more than that and I'm not. It would be irresponsible to have more. I don't enjoy being overly buzzed and either non-functional, acting retarded or potentially paranoid but I do enjoy a mild amount for immersing myself in music and tasks.

By abusing it, I could become more and more physiologically adapted to where I require more in order for it to be effective. I can't imagine the abuse, as shared by Roger, to get to the point where I was consuming mass amounts and its only effect was to instill me with hunger. That's a sure sign that it's an addictive problem no different than alcoholism.
