Concerning what has gone on over there in the century since the end of WWI, I’d say that’s a wash with probably myself leaning towards the Ottoman Empire’s collapse as being a negative for the world as a whole.

The Germans might still have won if we stayed out.

You don’t get WW2 if that happens.
Unlikely. They were far more depleted than the Brits and French. But an equitable, negotiated peaces was a possibility, which also would have avoided WW2

Our entry in the war ended any such possibility. The Germans, Brits and French understood that attrition would eventually get the Germans.

WWI was German imperialism vs British.

Period. It did not give rise to national socialism. It was already a thing.

The Ottoman Empire was already a dead man walking at that point. It was going to collapse or perhaps more accurately devolve even if they were not involved in WWI. The difference would be that the French and British meddling in drawing boundaries made the region more unstable than it needed to be.

Exactly. A white peace for Prussian Germany would have made for a more stable Europe that would have been more resistant to Communism.

If you have to have draft to fight a war maybe you shouldn't be in it.
