His flashbacks were terrible. I’m surprised he never killed someone when he got back. Finally gave up drinking and it helped. But emotionally he was dead inside.

Meh.... maybe, but I'd bet it's nothing like it used to be. Nor will many of the NGO's likely funding them will be either.
But hey, you do you..... be a skeptic.
It's much easier to be a skeptic than believe in something. Pretty much the same as being a loser. IMHO
Oh, and post less!

The Red Cross has to do something to justify it's existence and keep that money coming.

Red Cross helped many high level Nazi's evade capture at the end of WWII.

After Hurricane Harvey the Red Cross opened up a large tent soliciting donations of cash and offering sandwiches. The sandwiches litterly were slip blind sandwiches, two pieces of bread and a salami slice.

That's not the Red Cross, it's the Red Crescent. One is non-secular, the other a militant Muslim quasi " humanitarian organization ". Why is it every time a Red Crescent vehicle gets blown to smithereens there's a terrorist in the vehicle?

Dude the Red Cross has a Red Cross for an emblem. Red crescent has a red quarter moon as an emblem

I thought we learned why the world shouldn't donate to the Red Cross after Hurricane Katrina. It's all wasted.

Another organization that I used to support but no longer is the Salvation Army.
quote:
The Salvation Army feeds immigrants and asylum seekers as part of its worldwide humanitarian mission, providing hot meals, packaged food, and emergency relief at border towns, shelters, and local community centers.
Border and Shelter Operations
El Paso, Texas: Operates feeding sites and shelters serving hundreds to over a thousand meals daily to migrants and local families in need.
California and Arizona:
Emergency response teams distribute water, snacks, and packaged meals to arriving asylum seekers.
Border Engagements:
Local corps run regular mobile meal programs in border zones like Calexico to provide warm food and basic supplies

My grandfather was stationed in Germany in the Army and said the Red Cross would hoard all of the cigarettes and other commodities intended for the soldiers. He hates the Red Cross and never gave them a dime.

The woke NGO industrial complex is real AF.

A lot of people learned the truth about them after Katrina.

This is exactly why you go to IRS.gov and pull the 990 of any organization you are thinking of donating to. Especially if they are in regular advertising rotation. Idiocy like this.

I donated during Katrina. Will never do it again. End all NGO's/Scams.

I quit donating to them many years ago when they were spending donor money on elaborate office furniture and personal items for themselves.
