But sure, go to war with no intention to leave. Iran was to be the keystone of the Anglo American takeover of the entire middle east. Cheney said. And McCain.
I believe the same thing. Why is it that the "conservatives" on here are okay with spending billions fighting and managing countries that (by their very nature) are always going dislike our government.
Meanwhile, we wont invest in our states' infrastructure. We wont invest in free 2 year programs that will obviously be a boost to our economy and potentially defeat the bloated university scam and leftist strongholds (surprised nobody thinks about that).
It's as if they dont really care about the wellbeing of their citizens.

Y'all's traditions and values are being erased?
Traditions and values are inherently somewhat fragile, as to survive they require the cooperation of people, and people can be manipulated and influenced by all manner of things.
You could consider it healthy competition when an in-group influence goes against traditional values and causes change.
Our Western traditions and values, by contrast to that, have been under constant attack and assault for centuries by an out-group that is more cunning than us, controls our wealth, and doesn’t have our best interests in mind.
It’s a civilizational crisis that won’t be easily solved.

I have never supported our country placing our men and women in danger for the sake of helping countries that have never sought out what is best for our nation.
We could invest in our infrastructure, but we have too many wasteful government assistance programs that enable the lazy to be lazy.

He's mocking your fear mongering, not agreeing with the quote.

You didn't know that quote was fake.

Because conservatives want to be patriotic and it blinds us to the lies.

If you look critically both at what we do and what we won’t do, no matter which side seemingly holds the power, you have to start to question who really wields the power.

Well he and others blindly defended the destruction of our values. No one even listed the values, it simply said values being destructed. And this fake action was blindly defended. If your only attack on me is that I didn’t know it was fake, then you admittedly have nothing.

Are you saying the view "Ours is the truth. Yours is satanic" is a bad viewpoint and that your own is the true viewpoint?

No one is talking about your twisted values, freak. The subject is traditionally American values that are being devalued, or in some cases erased.

I'm sorry you think extended families and teamwork are twisted. No wonder this country's going down the shitter.

traditionally American values
The "nuclear family" isn't a traditional American value.
For most of our history, extended families lived together.
Besides which, if your traditions and values are so weak as to be effected by a troll job, you need stronger traditions and values.

Brock Adams: Director UN health organization:

He should start in the middle east. If those people will stop:
quote:
loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and religious dogmas
he might get somewhere.
But those people are only loyal to their neighbors or tribe. And does this dude not know that it is politically incorrect to expect Muslims to give up their religious dogmas.

I wouldn't call either nuclear or extended families a "value." Extended families generally were an economic necessity that went away with the quick rise in affluence and mobility for most of the country post-WWII, leading to the prevalence of nuclear families. This included minority families.
The value as I see it is the importance of a two-parent, stable household in which to raise children.
And unfortunately for all involved, this has certainly been under attack since...oh...1964.
