This year, the Chamber has endorsed 23 democrats.

The Chamber was formed to fight the Labor Movement under Taft.

At it's height, the Chamber had about 130,000 small businesses that were members. But RINOS and Politicians more worried about their own pockets and jobs took over.

The result, less than 7,000 small business owners. Wealthy CEOs and big businesses now have the power. These are the same people as Romney and his followers.

The Chamber is as responsible for the crushing of small business as the DEMS.

The US Chamber no longer listens to it's local offices. At all.

Hear it from a Local Chamber President:

quote:

Chad Warmington, president and CEO of the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce, wrote a scathing rebuke of the Chamber’s endorsement. Specifically, Warmington noted the Chamber’s glossing over Rep. Kendra Horn’s (D-OK) record in Congress, endorsing her against Republican Stephanie Bice. “I question how the U.S. Chamber could endorse a candidate who consistently voted against the largest industry in Oklahoma, employing over 90,000 workers throughout the state,” Warmington said. “That is hardly a pro-business record.” In Oklahoma’s 5th congressional district, Bice is running a tight race against Horn. The Chamber is hoping Horn can pull off a victory against the GOP challenger in a district that voted 53 percent for Trump in 2016.

Name the Right-leaning organization from 20 years ago that the Left hasn't acquired. The NRA, Pro-life orgs. That's about it.

The Left now owns old Right strongholds - the wealthy, big business, banking, Wall Street, even the pentagon. And they've fortified their hold on education, permanent government, unions, high tech, media/social media, entertainment (including now the NFL), and myriad others.

It's almost like they have a strategy. A plan to squeeze the Right out of every facet of business/society. They seem to want power or something.

Go figure.

The Chamber of Commerce basically represents China. By that I mean, they only listen to very large corporations who can outsource their production to China so that they can take advantage of slave labor.

The chamber has sold its soul and has completely f*cked small business in the U.S.

They really should change their name to The Chamber of Commerce of China (and the traitorous corporations who exploit Chinese slave labor).

Its not just in business either.

Take a look at the SBC. SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION.

Does anybody actually think the local churches are being represented in their decisions.

The problem will be that the local churches will pull out leaving the whole organization to the leftist leaning arm.

If they don't have a convention where pastors from around the USA show up, its over.

That’s why I used “Right” and “Left”

there are very few conservatives in the Republican party.

the Republican party is full on swamp dwellers. they do not represent the people anymore.
corruption and greed is what they are all about.

very similar to a Democrat; minus a set of balls.

Good post

Capitalism is always going to have a struggle between labor and management.

It’s why liberals are called Marxist. Karl Marx was a labor advocate arguing for higher wages, guaranteed pay, less hazardous work places, fewer hours working. Sound familiar?

This is where the country is heading. And it’s not just the liberals fault. It’s the Republicans too. The Bushes were globalists that shipped jobs to China. That is a communist country.
Many of our representatives are beholden to interests that pervert our capitalist system.

Be wary.

Never a member, but I was a member of the J.C.'s for a brief period of time. Once they let women in that organization was destroyed.

There needs to be a complete cleaning of house at the US Chamber.

Their focus needs to return to the US small business or the US Small Business needs to start a new "Chamber"

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce should change their name to a more accurate description: C.C.P Chamber of Commerce.

Congress needs to be changed to a virtual teleconference Congress so they have to spend all of their time in their home states and districts. The swamp is a toxic influence of corruption. Keep 'em home where more influences are local.

Also, having a dispersed Congress and government agencies is a lot more secure. Having all of government heads in one place these days is like an open invitation to some rogue nation or terrorist organization.

The U.S. Chamber is totally different politically than your local Chamber.

The U.S. Chamber is full of multinational corporate members who's goal is to import cheap labor and exfiltrate U.S. wealth via China.

Both of these goals are bad for the U.S. worker and manufacturer.

I always come back to the question, if protectionists policies are good for China (they love them) why wouldn't they be good for the U.S.?

The problem with the U.S. Chamber they are okay with the U.S. being a mostly service economy. The problem with that is a service economy cannot exist without a solid manufacturing base. We need to make stuff first to drive services. It does not work the other way around.

The pendulum has swung too far in the service economy direction in the U.S. Thus Donald Trump. He is scratching that itch.

Last year we joined two local chambers. It was absolutely useless and a waste of money. Nothing but a country club with lots of self congratulatory crap while providing nothing of substance. They represent everything wrong with the Republican Party and now apparently they’ve crossed over to join the dems too.

I’m meeting with people working on the State legislative agenda for next spring and the small/medium size businesses we work with aren’t blaming the left for their perils. They feel like they’ve been railroaded, but where they cast the blame isn’t where most would expect. It’s a mixed bag because they are also very concerned over what they perceive as a blue wave coming though the elections.
