Yearicks name was initially reported as the shooter unofficially before Crooks.

I did not even notice the ear gauge issue until a few minutes ago.

Possibly, but I have never seen a chain of custody of those photos. They were almost immediately "leaked" without attribution.

Wouldn't that be a serious violation of investigation protocol?

but nobody has said WHY this body switch and cover up happened? What are they trying to hide? If they were going to kill him after he assassinated trump anyway why even go through this whole complicated plan?

I agree the dead guy looks just like crooks, that protruding chin and underbite looks like crooks to me. And the dead guy does not have a thin nose like yearick does.

I don't know what happened at Butler because I haven't seen much proof established through the rigor you would expect in a homicide/presidential assassination attempt investigation.

If you have 3 minutes, I highly recommend this article pointing out how key questions about Butler remain unresolved.

Good points re lack of evidence of Crooks's identity:

"Most infuriating is that none of these reports that have been made public provide a single piece of physical evidence that Thomas Matthew Crooks was the alleged shooter. No fingerprint data from the alleged weapon, no ballistics data that prove his weapon was used to shoot anybody, no DNA tests from the weapon, no mobile phone data to prove he was even on the roof of the AGR Building (pings) and no photographs of the would-be assassin. Oh, and the peasants are not worthy of getting to see the autopsy of the alleged shooter, whose body just happened to lay on the roof of the AGR Building all night until it was retrieved at 6am the following morning. Nothing weird about that!

Issues with the vehicles:

"Not to be Johnny Rain Cloud, but there is also that problem with the second vehicle that was located outside of the rally perimeter…a white van with Arizona license plates that police dogs sniffed out. And, according to news reports and videos, police found explosives in the van. So, who did the van belong to? Why didn’t the driver come back for the van? Did anyone ask Crooks’ parents if Thomas had a White Van? What happened to the van? Thomas Crooks reportedly drove a blue Sonata to the AGR Building parking lot. How’d a white van get there too? Were there two possible assassins? These are not insignificant questions. There is a video of cops swarming the white van and loading it onto a trailer and taking it away. C’mon, what’s with the White Van? The American People deserve to know and there are a few who have tried relentlessly to get a Grand Jury to get answers to these and many more questions that those in charge don’t seem to want to answer."

THE actual investigation is unavailable to the public:

"The Butler County Republican Committee has been unable to obtain information about the shooting with the FBI and Homeland Security denying Freedom of Information requests, so it has requested Richard Goldinger, the Butler County District Attorney to impanel an investigative Grand Jury. What was Goldinger’s response?
“The State Police conducted their own investigation into the events that unfolded that day. Their investigation was extensive and involved interviewing dozens of individuals who were present the day of the rally. This investigation is independent of the multiple investigations being conducted by congressional committees.” Goldinger wraps up his denial with “I do not believe it is necessary to impanel an investigative grand jury to investigate the events leading up to and including the day of the Trump rally on July 13, 2024. I am satisfied with the investigation and conclusions reached by the Pennsylvania State Police.”
Goldinger is “satisfied.” Really? Guess what? Nobody is allowed to see the Pennsylvania State Police Report. Nope! It’s a secret. In order to get a copy of that report, one would have to subpoena it and that would require a costly civil lawsuit.  And it gets better. Goldinger explains that the congressional committees will have their own reports. What investigative report was used by those Congressional Committees? That’s right. The Pennsylvania State Police Report that regular Americans are not privy to! You can’t make this up."

There were plenty of eye witness accounts of a second shooter immediately following the incident.
