That’s the point.
OP wants us to reflexively look down on poor people. It’s conflict and division porn. Life is too short.
Probably because OP is a fricking loser that craves someone to judge. I don't give a shite if a poor person owns a cheap arse TV and anyone that does is a moron.

but nothing compared to the rich (SNAP is 1.8% of federal spending)
The rich pay more in than you will ever make in your life.
And snap is not the only hand out.

It’s more about people complaining they don’t have enough and complain about free handouts not being enough and jerk offs like your self nodding along.

I am going to share a story with you. My town was devastated by a tordado about 20 years ago. I watched the community gather up the rubble and rebound. The people that had not lost their homes or loved ones immediately started helping. There was several parts of the town that did nothing. They sat on their porches and waited for local, state, and federal government to clean up everything. I lost hope for those that live in those areas. They are totally dependent on government but worse than the dependency is the idea that they deserve it.

frick. May need to go even further. Poorest people who don't work.... have more shite than the poorest people who work at least 40 hours a week
Will never understand how some frickers who don't work.... get over 800 a month in food stamps, and have section 8, can afford $1k a month car leases, $300 shoes, and replace their iphone pro max every year for the latest version.

How do you think they get approved for the 1000 a month car lease?
They don't because they're not driving fancy cars

No one is doing that. They're concerned they won't be able to stretch things out with the funding pause. Which is completely avoidable even during the shut down.

4K TVs can be purchased for $350. That is the same, adjusting for inflation, that we paid for a portable black and white back with a 12 inch screen in the 70s.
The first TV I ever bought was a 25' Curtis Mathis console. It's still in the shed at my camp. As far as I know it still works.

Like Bernie Sanders and the New York mayor candidate, right? Right??? All those good socialist politicians love to talk about “rich” people that need to pay more taxes and shouldn’t be allowed to have so much wealth, even though they earned it. Meanwhile, they have their mansions, yachts, private elaborate compounds in the poorest countries. Cry me a river

It was thousands bra. Most I had never met. You can guess the communities that waited on the govt to help. We provided meals. They were good to go with that. We offered to help clean up their yards and debris but shut that down when they did not offer help for their own community. It is what it is. Democrats created the mail box money and a certain community relies on it rather than being self reliant. There was a president some 70 years ago that started this mess.

We have to hate the working poor because people like Bernie Sanders are rich?

No we have to hate Bernie sanders for pushing for policies that keep the poor on the plantations.

The working poor are not hated. The people that feel entitled and want all the luxuries in life without having to work and pay for it themselves are despised though.

They absolutely are. Republicans on this board absolutely despise the working poor.
