But the truth is that his proposed tax cuts will benefit the wealthy at the expense of low- and middle-income Americans
The problem with trying to say this is the fact that low-middle income Americans have already experienced a Trump presidency and know this is bullshite through firsthand experience. Small business owners are the same way. Payroll taxes skyrocketed under Biden.

By the way, your link literally says it's an opinion piece in the URL.

By 2025, average tax savings will amount to just $70 for the bottom 20 percent of earners

So the bottom 20 percent of earners pays roughly zero in taxes, but somehow Trump managed to save them $70. I challenge anyone that claims that they paid more based on Trump's tax code than the pre-Trump code to show the math. I would bet that they are paying more because they made a lot more. Sorry Trump's economy was so great that you moved up a tax bracket or 2.

I'm glad Trump is not President and if yall would use your brains yall would be too

Yall must be brainwashed to really believe the peace and prosperity under Trump was better than the waking nightmare our Country and the world are now.

Biden & Harris have blessed us WW3, inflation, shortages, disasters of every type, mass illegal immigration, the list goes on

Mine didn't.

And here's another Hill article explaining how IRS data proves Trump tax cuts benefited middle and working-class Americans most.

By the time they expire next year, Trump’s tax cuts are projected to have boosted after-tax incomes of the top 1 percent of earners by 3 percent, to an average of $2.1 million. But they barely affect the bottom 60 percent of earners, increasing their 2025 incomes just 1 percent, to $41,800.

Leftists also lament Michael Bloomberg spending $600 million on his ill-fated bid for president in 2020 because he could have given every American $1 million and still wasted $300 million on it.

Just think - every man, woman and child could be a millionaire now, WC.

Deficits, too...

A.The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act cut taxes substantially from 2018 through 2025. The resulting deficits are adding $1 to $2 trillion to the federal debt, according to official estimates from before and shortly after enactment. The debt increase will be larger if some of TCJA’s temporary tax cuts are extended.

And?

We shouldn't foot the bill for the government's reckless spending.

I have a liberal buddy that claims Trump caused his taxes to go up. I had to remind him he lost 2 dependents during that timeframe. Two kids left home after graduation. He couldn’t argue after that.

Everybody claims they're going to cut taxes for everyone, and reduce the debt. And not cut the military.

And somehow, people believe them.

You must suck at math. I was making right around 90k when his tax cuts were enacted. My paycheck went up by a couple hundred dollars. Back in those days, 90k was decidedly middle class.

This was the same for everyone making 90k, believe it or not. Take your bullshite back to fantasy land.

The bottom 60% barely pay anything in taxes. Hence not getting as much back.

But your taxes did not go up under Trump.

Try this tool, tool...
