Had someone I work with say yesterday that Chernobyl is currently melting down because of Russia.
Anyone heard similar?

Russian forces are learning some hard fricking lessons… will be interesting to see if they improve as this drags out.

I’m watching the shake up with countries worldwide over this. Countries are drawing their lines in the sand and I fully expect China and their alliances in BRICS to move in a direction that will ultimately hurt the US. Most of Asia, the Middle East is on board, Africa, Most of South and Central America. That comprises of most of the world’s population. Russia was already trying to get off the US dollar and paid all of their debts to central banks. China has developed their own swift system. The end result will be a huge blow to US hegemony. We just had to stay out of UKRAINE

It’s likely another lie by Ukraine to drag western nato countries into this. Don’t worry about nuclear stuff. It makes no sense for Russ to do anything dangerous. I’m sure they don’t mind the rumors too much because it keeps other countries at bay, although they probably think such provocations are very dangerous

Small lessons maybe. Their angle is to prod their way through the populated big cities and clear them, which has been difficult because Ukrainian soldiers are hiding there and slipping out for counter attacks. It may take some time to get through them, but once through they are staring down the countryside where they will move much quicker. I’m surprised Odessa hasn’t be targeted heavily yet, but maybe I’m not caught up on that. The forces N/NW of Kiev are likely waiting for other troops from the east and south. That large convoy is a big part of their supply line. Nobody is really attacking them

It would be splashed all over the yellow press if it was true

This is pretty common especially for an invading or offensive force. The US got a bloody nose the first stages of WW2 and the Korean War.
Sports wise, you see underdog teams do well the first half but after proper adjustments the better team comes back in the 3rd quarter and the score still reflects the talent disparity at the end of the game.

We were on the defensive for the opening phases of both conflicts. And we really didn't take the bloody nose in Korea until MacArthur extended us too far forward in the far north of North Korea.

Russia is 2 weeks in and still grouping their tanks together for them to get destroyed by Ukrainian artillery. That is lesson on what not to do that every army should have learned in WW2.

Also a lot of upsets in sports.

Ukrainian soldiers hiding in schools:
Ukrainian soldier putting land mines next to bus station
Anti plane artillery wedged between apartment buildings. Just another war crime
Russian humanitarian aid

Nope. I have heard that Russia has cut the power lines to Chernobyl and as a result Ukraine could not guarantee that the water pumps in the 3 reactors that were decommissioned after the disaster in 1986 had water keeping the fuel covered and containing radiation. However they put out a clarification statement after saying that they were backup generators at the plant and as long as Russia doesn’t let them run out of diesel there everything is ok. The IAEA said that their observers said the generators and pumps were working.

Lot of bullshite Russian propaganda. Ukraine has been invaded so they get to fight dirty because they are defending their homeland.
ETA: Anyone who believes anything that RT, TASS, or any of the Russian state media says is an idiot. Western media might be biased and reports some stuff that later turns out not to be true, but Russian media straight up runs stories that the Kremlin writes.

Well if the Russian side is putting out propaganda, that doesn't fit alotta politards narratives, so get out of here with that shite.
I'm amazed people are so quick to dismiss every single thing that comes from the west, which is not necessarily wrong, but then they accept everything that comes from China and Russia without hesitation...mind blowing.
Like this video is a deep fake, but here are some scanned documents I found on some random website to prove my point.

Video evidence blows your bull shite out of the water. Reports of Ukrainians doing bad shite has been pouring in this whole time, especially Azov. It’s war. They are getting their shite pushed in, so I don’t blame them. It’s also not surprising they blame Russians for their mishaps, not that they are aren’t doing it themselves. Russians are shelling where Ukrainian soldiers are. They aren’t indiscriminately shelling civilians on purpose. You are neck deep in the most embarrassing propaganda the world has ever seen. There’s a reason Russians started marking their tanks, because they were being blamed by the psychopaths in the Azov group
