IIRC from reading twitter (not the most reliable source I know) that it was in dry dock and had its engines and most of its weapons removed for refits and modernization. It was scuttled over the weekend by its crew since it could not fight. It's a blow for Ukraine's pride but not much of a blow to its military capability since it did not have ship to ship missile capability even when it was armed.

BREAKING: The United States and Russia create a military communication line to prevent accidental escalations

The US-Russia military communications line will prevent clashes in Eastern Europe

Poland's border with Ukraine and the Black Sea are particular areas of concern

This "deconfliction channel" resembles the understanding the US and Russia developed in Syria

In case the world needed anymore evidence that the Russian military is a paper tiger. It has had to buy bad copies of good American tires to outfit its military equipment. They should have just stuck with old white-wall tires that the USSR loved so much.

I'm to believe they're doing incredibly well, yet they're constantly calling for / needing reinforcements for this "special military operation."

Just saying.

Did you expect the Biden administration to think of it before the invasion? Also did you think that the inept Russian high command and insane Putin to think of it before the invasion? It appears that common sense is in short supply in Washington D.C. and Moscow.

Ukrainian farmers are licking their lips when they see the tanks on those trains. They are going to get rich selling scrap metal now.

As they take more territory they need more troops to hold those gains while the front moves forward.
