Was a good idea but it’s fizzling out. Likely won’t ever breach 25 million.

Not averaging $80 per either.

You’re about 162,25 million short of a majority....

Again, this is about the stupidest thing to throw your money at. Never will get to its intended target and you’re making GofundMe a fortune.

Btw, you’re also only 4.83B away

This really has been amazing to watch.

And the utter contempt, detest, and vitriol it is met with from the left is beautiful.

They cannot handle the idea of citizens getting things done without/in spite of the government.

If it doesn't reach its goal.... You get your money back. This is sending a message.

Is the current message that people generally don’t actually want this funded? Because I think it feels more like a vocal tiny minority not a silent but mighty majority.

Before discounting the Huge success this has been already, look the other 4 high donation GoFundMe's.

Specifically look at the length of time it took to get those sums of money and also look at the number of contributors. Then look at the average donation.

"Times up" had the fewest donators, logically the highest average donation and the most money donated, what does that tell ya

How well is The Wall Fund doing, beyond comparison of any other GoFundMe Fund

I'm of mixed feelings on this.

On the one hand, this has and always had exactly zero chance of achieving it's goal.

And, as such, that's a way to make the folks at GoFundMe money.

Then again. To those that laugh at the 280K number of contributors, I think to myself...…….if 280K people showed up on the mall in D.C., not a soul out there would sneer at such a large group. Yet, it would still constitute the same percentage of Americans in total.

280K people who actually do something other than bitch on a message board about an issue is never something to sneeze at politically.

Shorty, I see what you are saying, but there is a rather significant difference between (a) taking 2 minutes and pledging to donate $20 from the comfort od the Lazy Boy and (b) giving up days of one’s time to travel all the way to DC fora protest rally.

These pledges certainly are not “nothing,” but they also are not MUCH more than nothing.

Agree sorta but most all wouldn’t show up for a protest because they hold down jobs for significant periods of time and protesters on other side are paid to protest

Huge difference in the 2 ilks that protest here

Plus another $20 billion. The total projected cost of the wall was $20 billion, not $5 billion. Plus another $2 billion annually for maintenance and upkeep.
