I fear the republicans didn’t think this all the way through. They can’t stick together on anyone. The democrats will win this. I pray I’m wrong, but I think Gaetz played right into their hands. Glad bless us all.

plus he was wearing a damn mask today, seems sketchy.

You mean the guy undergoing treatment for cancer? Treatment known to make you immune compromised? That guy wearing a mask is sketchy for doing so? You’re a nut.

That's who Gaetz said he would support. Seems like a reasonable compromise.

No. The dude is about to parish from blood cancer. That would be a stupid fricking idea.

It’s the highly treatable kind.

I’ve speculated that Scalise is more to the Right and playing Rino to rise up.

The kind of blood cancer Scalise has, multiple myeloma, is treatable and curable.

But the chemo treatment for it is brutal.

I doubt his oncologist would recommend Scalise exhaust himself with more congressional duties while he goes through the months of treatments for his cancer.

I’m thinking it will be Tom Emmer, if he runs and is able to meet a lot of demands from different sides of the party. Already, both Gaetz and Burchett have said they would consider supporting him.
