Strange, right? I have a theory that this is their attempt at reconning history here and tricking everyone into thinking these were always their positions because it would have been impossible to hide the truth forever. since they've shown they can literally rewrite their online stories (If only Winston Smith had had it that easy) they can just alter the "facts" to suit their needs. And when someone goes to look for a link to a story form them from October of 2020 there will be none that claim this was ever Russian Propaganda, etc.

Very few people pay close attention, and most rely on the ability to go back and double check things on line. and since there are virtually no hard copies of anything any more, altering things is easy.

I honestly can't figure another good reason.

They've gotten woke and gone broke, and watched the SJW Frankenstein they helped build go completely out of control. Too little too late.

i feel like this is a preemptive strike against the right for some reason. ya know, silence free speech for 5 years and them claim the other side is silencing free speech?

The left touts diversity as a strength unless it's the diversity of thought or opinion.

The suppression is coming from the left and it goes well beyond mere suppression of speech to a willingness to destroy any and all who disagree with them.
