The new Confederacy

I was listening to Andrew Wilkow yesterday, and he makes a great point about the leftist states and their sanctuary state status that they claim when it comes to following federal laws on immigration. Sanctuary states and it's cities should be labeled as the new Confederates States and dealt with the same fury as the Union did with us 165 years ago. If your states governor doesn't abide by federal laws, and the authority of the Department of Justice, than it should be dealt with as a hostile enemy to the rest of the nation. Shouldn't we preserve the Union at all cost?

It’s only a matter of time before something big actually happens. We are compatible.
Even when Trump is long gone, we’re all still going to hate what the other side stands for and supports and vice versa.
It would have to be a lot of horse trading to settle on who gets what locations.

I agree, and I was being sarcastic with the rally cry of 1861. Reality is that there is too much money to be made as a politician to ever think that our country will split into progressive and conservative states. But federal law is above state law, and if some red states fall in the election and declare themselves as a sanctuary state, then how would they be dealt with?

Yes, but the leftist strategy so far has been to implement in small doses, and make those as attractive as possible on the front end.

The most important aspect of the left's strategy to incrementally change the US into a Cultural Marxism Utopia was gaining control of academia. Once you control academia you control the indoctrination process. What does the leftist legacy media, leftist judiciary and center left corporate America all have in common? They all went to leftist finishing school aka leftist universities.

Why should we have a so-called "Union" when half the country hates the other half and has irreconcilable differences? Perhaps we could allow our big cities to become autonomous like the ancient city-states so we can at least keep the crazies confined.
