Of property rights, so I don’t feel bad for them that “their” land was taken. If Columbus had not existed, someone else would have come along and taken it. All this faux outrage and virtue signaling is so over the top.

Survival of the fittest?
The smartest and strongest out compete others for resources?

SJW's and left-wing loons don't care to hear it, but this planet would be a much, much worse place if there had never been a United States of America.

PS - Although, we do have a corrupt and bought-and-paid-for government now. But no worries, because God, OMB, and the Patriots are going to fix that.

NA's were conquering the hell out of each other long before folks in boats showed up who happened to be even better at the whole conquering thing

They didn't have land for the most part. Many were nomadic

Has nothing to do with the idea or the Western Civilization idea of owning property.

It's simply all of history, might is right.

You can't hold onto a piece of land or your way of life, tough shite.

It's older than prostitution. Taking and conquering...it's how people, tribes, countries and civilizations got most of their shite.

And just like slavery in Africa being prevalent; Native American tribes stole from other tribes willy-nilly - it was part and parcel of conquest and the spoils of war.

And Mexico claims we stole California from them and Texas; no you lost a war you dipshites.

Apacalyptico was a pretty good storytelling of that. Terrifying, but true.

They still don’t. The reservations surrounding my current job are filled with people who have no concept of ownership. They are little socialist communities. It’s really odd. Someone calls you and says, “I need $20” you just give them $20. No questions asked. They dont believe that they own their own money, or houses, or vehicles. It’s like it is all community property.

The mother of Julian Castro still tries to trot out that San Antonio sits on land "stolen" from Mexico

Seriously. The widespread belief that countries shouldn’t conquer other weaker countries only started in the 20th century as a result of the pacifist movement and also several temperate Christian revivalists. The Aztecs and Mayans were absolutely brutal to the surrounding nations they conquered. Likewise the Iroquois and Mohawks. Were the native Americans mistreated? Absolutely, but that was just the way things were back then, and given the chance they would not have hesitated to enslave or kill every single white settler on the continent.

Yup. That's what people conveniently forget. Turnabout was absolutely fair play in that era.

They were pretty misogynistic too - and quite good at torturing people just for fun or sacrifice.

I have never understood what the modern mentally defective "woke" folks wish had happened when North America got in the way of Columbus' voyage to China.

Was he supposed to say "opps - sorry for the intrusion" and go back home?

How long was Europe supposed to wait to make contact with the indiginous folk they found === another 500 years for them to catch up? - or make Europe go back 1000 years as a penalty for 'illegal procedure?'

As with every DEMOCRAT 'look back into history to find villains who cannot defend themselves' reason to clutch their pearls, I just cannot fathom their point.

I am just not stupid enough to understand DEM ideology.

They were oblivious to the danger as a SJW at a Reconquista Rally in San Francisco.

I mean after all, the Pilgrims were only there to do the jobs the current occupants wouldn’t!

Oh really? Then why would they kill anyone that ventured onto their land?

...and they were killing each other and taking other tribes' land long before Columbus got here. This virtue signalling is much ado about nothing. Let's not talking about those peaceful, harmonious, benevolent tribes in South/Central America who relished the idea of human sacrifice.

Columbus Day is interesting. On the one hand, you have SJWs that want to ignore the brutality of the world in telling their version of its history. On the other hand, you have the ardent defenders of the romanticized version of Columbus who want to ignore the brutality of the world in telling their version of its history.

They can bitch about the past all they want, but Native Americans and African Americans are much better off due to the white man. Maybe not in previous centuries... but definitely now.

funny you say that's odd. That's what Christ's kingdom is going to be like.

Every group of people that live in any country or territory today conquered another people to get that. Seriously, pick up a fricking history book and just read about any country's history.
