Classic SDVTiger. Resorts to name calling because he doesn't have the mental faculties to counter what was said.

Trump didn't like the numbers (which takes over a thousand people to compile) so he hires a young Heritage Foundation person to cook the books in his favor. And you are ok with that.

This shite is starting to resemble a Tom Clancy novel and not in a good way.

Right people from outside New Orleans know more about the criminal justice system in New Orleans than people who live and work here

Nothing yet. Just waiting for the next jobs report which will be hugely distorted in favor of new jobs reported. Can't give Trump numbers he doesn't like and they know that.

Gotcha. I thought you were referencing an article by them about DC crime and how it’s dropping some and why that is happening.

Turns out that when you start prosecuting criminals and jailing them they can’t commit more crimes. Ground breaking stuff.

ETA: I will say it is good to see you people care about such things again. It’s been a minute.

Nah. I haven't experienced crime in DC but I also know where to go and where not to go in the city.

Just like most cities. Red or Blue.

Good points, VHS .

The same phenomenon occurs with
other contentious issues: vaccines, immigration, education, etc.
People are guided by social/political identity in many cases. They stick with the prevailing view of their tribe. That includes how they get their information
and who they choose to believe….

“I haven’t been a victim of a murder yet”. “No one has shot me in the face yet.”

These people are hilarious

For the last several years, I have spend M-F working with convicted felons in Orleans Parish. I have a very good handle on what the crime is like here.

God bless, C; but be careful. Associations and bonds of love extended will come with expectations in the minds of desperate and simple minded people who are ruled by instincts and powers which they do not understand and/or are unable to overrule. I know this from experience as well. Protect those ‘cubbies’ above all. You can only save a limited number. Like any lifeguard swimming out to the drowning.

Best wishes.

The Lexis Nexis Community Crime Map tells a very different story, but I appreciate your concern because I do believe it's genuine.

LINK type in 70119 and zoom in. There's some theft/burglary but nothing violent.
