No democrat or independent voter that voted Biden, that would not switch to Trump in 2024, would vote for Ron DeSantis.

The votes that switch are because they see how crappy Biden has done are switching regardless.

DeSantis voted to cut Social Security and Medicare and is off the spectrum far right on all social issues just like Gavin Newsom is left.

He is the worst candidate to try and get swing presidential voters. Mit Romney was better suited politically and got his arse kicked.

This shite that you have to not be Trump to get the votes to win, when the man got the most votes in every state by far as a sitting president (literally BiDEN* only higher) is fricking propaganda so we don’t keep talking about the mail in vote harvesting anymore.

Trumps populism brought millions into the GOP. DeSantis social Justice crusades are not going to light a fire under voters that aren’t already going to vote.

Without limiting cheating going forward, NO Republicans are going to win in those states for presidential elections.

****Muh Kemp in GA blah blah…. They can’t spend 400 million harvesting votes every cycle. They pick and choose when to get their vote gathering operation going.

I've said over and over I think DeSantis has a better shot in NV, AZ, and GA. Trump probably in MI and PA. WI, I have no idea.

The deep analytical polling data disagrees with your subjective opinion.

Musk might be the odd anecdote, but he falls in that category.

Wrong
Many swing voters won't vote for a guy who lead a coup attempt against the US government

It's good to see someone realistically understanding the seeming trickbag of this situation our country is in currently.

The fact that ANY republican wouldn't be a guaranteed Reagan-Mondale style sweep, given what's currently in the White House, is the thing that should be most alarming to every normal thinking American.

False. Trump was the weak-link on the ballot on the GOP side in 2016 and 2020. In both elections, over 5.5 million people voted for at least 1 down-ballot Republican in a contested race but didn't vote for Trump. The majority of these people typically vote Republican, they just hate Trump and will never vote for him. Yet they voted for more conservative down-ballot Republicans that they literally couldn't ID out of a lineup.

If you look at the suburban counties, Trump underperformed Republicans in nearly every single one.

Here are just a few of the counties he underperformed in:

2020 Fulton (GA)
Public Service Commission Republican District 1-147,774
Public Service Commission Republican District 4-145,973
David Perdue-146,466
Congressional R's-141,193
Donald Trump-137,240

2020 Cobb (GA)
District Attorney Republican-187,241
Clerk of Superior Court Republican-184,216
Sheriff Republican-172,706
County Commissioner Republican-179,667
US House Republicans-171,699
Public Service Commission Republican-170,398
David Perdue-169,658
Donald Trump-165,459

2020 Gwinnett (GA)

Republican Tax Commissioner-182,068
Republican DA-177,800
Republican Sheriff-171,568
Perdue-166,754
Donald Trump-166,413

2020 Pima (AZ)

Republican County Treasuer-250,713
Republican Sheriff-248,765
Republican Board of Supervisors-216,601
Trump-207,758

2020 Milwaukee (WI): Congressional R's-137,044, Trump-134,357

2020 Dane (WI): Congressional R-83,066, Trump-78,800

2020 Waukesha (WI): Congressional R's-167,546, Trump-159,649

2020 Brown (WI): Congressional R-87,044, Trump-75,871

2020 Racine (WI): Congressional R-59,327, Trump-54,475

2020 Outagamie (WI): Congressional R-64,982, Trump-58,379

2020 Montgomery (PA): Congressional R's-202,282 Republican Auditor General-195,435, Republican State Treasurer-189,613, Trump-185,460

2020 Bucks (PA): Congressional R's-225,231, State Assembly Republicans-201,105, Republican Auditor General-193,628, Trump-187,367

2020 Delaware (PA): Republican Auditor General-126,216, Republican State Treasurer-124,401, State Assembly Republican-122,681 Congressional Republican-122,176, Republican Attorney General-120,232, Trump-118,532

2020 Chester (PA): State Assembly Republicans-142,718, Republican Auditor General-141,525, Republican State Treasurer-138,083, Congressional Republican-136,936, Republican Attorney General-134,649, Trump-128,565

2020 Cuyahoga (OH): Congressional R's-207,824, Trump-202,699

2020 Franklin (OH): Republican Prosecuting Attorney-283,602, Congressional R's-221,013, Republican County Treasurer-217,617, Republican County Commissioner-213,516, Trump-211,237

2020 Hamilton (OH): Republican Prosecuting Attorney-221,298, Republican County Treasurer-201,650, Republican Sheriff-198,454, RepublicanRecorder-193,632, Congressional Republican-191,808, Republican County Commissioner-187,263, Trump-177,886

2020 Oakland (MI): Republican Sheriff-407,669, John James-334,629, Republican Treasurer-332,587, Trump-325,971

2020 Kent (MI): John James-176,795, Congressional R's-176,740, State Rep R's-168,405, Trump-165,741

And it wasn't just in states he lost. In the 10 largest counties in Texas he underperformed John Cornyn by over 100,000 votes. In Florida, there were over 380K people who voted for at least 1 Republican but didn't vote for Trump.

I was listening to Rush's replacements, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton last week and they had a few segments where they only took calls from AZ and GA voters. GA callers said they knew of several people who voted Republican across the board but either didn't cast a ballot in the Senate race or didn't vote for Walker because they didn't like Herschel being Trump's boy. Walker was the only state-wide Republican who lost. AZ callers said that people are tired of Trump and want to move on. One AZ caller said that he knows of Democrats who will infiltrate the GOP primary and vote for Trump because they view him as a weaker General Election candidate.

Your assertion is there was not fraud or illegal voting happening in Georgia. Is that your position?

This is the concern for me. I like DeSantis, but every single democrat on this site, without exception, supports DeSantis. Why is that?

Walker was the only state-wide Republican who lost. 8 other state-wide Republicans won, all by an average of 5 points and 194K votes. Walker also underperformed Congressional Republican candidates. He was a shite candidate and he had the Trump stench. The majority of GA voters hate Trump. They rejected him in 2020, rejected him again in the 2021 runoffs when he injected himself in those races, rejected his candidates (Perdue, Hice) who tried to take out incumbents in the primary, and they rejected Walker, his hand-picked candidate.
