The first course featured a “Trump Organic Field Green Salad,” with the second including filet mignon finished with a demi glaze sauce or pan seared halibut finished with citrus reduction sauce, both served with garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley, according to copies of the menu viewed by CNN.

For dessert, guests enjoyed a warm lava cake, “with valrhona chocolate, crispy chocolate pearls and a caramel sauce.”

Trump has his own salad?

Anyway, those sauces were mixed from a powder. The filet was a Brazilian "select" cut. The potatoes were instant. The vegetables were frozen and the halibut came from Costco.

Not bad.

Dude must commonly eat at Golden Corral. Everyone knows that the fancier the meal, the smaller the portions. Also, anyone who has ever been a high-end restaurant knows that fancy meals usually consist of smaller portions over multiple courses.

Without more context than a single photo to bitch over, this is a non-story.

What were you wanting. A 10lb lobster tail?

Anyone in Trumps inner circle who’s had inside scoop on TrumpCoin and these massive market swings have made $100s of millions

And one picture doesn't mean that was the entire meal. Now, tell me you've never eaten at a Michelin 3-star restaurant (or some other high-end restaurant) without actually saying so...

A friend and his wife, who is my step-daughter, recently attended dinner at a Trump-less Mar-a-Lago event.

I just shared this, and he laughed. Said that theirs was similar, but incredibly delicious, but this came after salad, then a bisque, then a lime sorbe to cleanse the palate. They saved some space on the plate for a slice of the famous Mar-a-Lago bread, and then were served dessert, which was a chocolate torte with a raspberry-brandy sauce and gold covered chocolate medallions.

Nice try at a dig, though.

Portion size is disproportionate to the plate. That's a starter portion. RFK, Jr must have planned the menu. If I had shelled out that money, I would have been miffed too

if you think that sirloin in brown gravy and green giant vegetables looks good you're telling me you definitely don't appreciate fine dining
it's ok to laugh at trump's blunders. he's notorious for being cheap at these events, especially on food. if you read anything past the headline (doubtful) you'll see he also stiffed all the people he promised access
quote:

The top 25 wallets were promised a private reception and guided tour. Others, such as 25-year-old Nicholas Pinto — whose dad drove him to the event in his Lamborghini — left underwhelmed and still hungry.

quote:

All in, the president was there for 23 minutes, Pinto said. Trump delivered a brief address rehashing old crypto talking points then left on a helicopter before taking any questions or pictures with his meme coin contest winners, he said.

It’s amazing that these people are so insecure they can’t laugh at something like this. The meal looks like shite, it’s ok to not be defensive over everything. Sheesh
