Average income people living in NYC are paying 10% in state and city income taxes, he wants to add another 2%. 12% over your federal taxes.
People will be leaving NYC in droves, it will become Escape from New York.

I know tons of New York dislikes on this board, but it’s an awesome city, one of a kind and truly never sleeps.
I don’t wish bad on NYC, just wish they could cut the cancer out and be normal, but that’s a tall order.
And if this guy gets in there, it’s in a for a long dismal ride.
But I do think Trump has a plan for this anti-American idiot. I just can’t see DJT sitting back to allow this guy to takeover his city.
And I think this guy has wayyy too many skeletons to be able to escape the law if DJT brings it down on him, but maybe I’m wishful thinking?

New York city taxes, etc are already super high and they have plenty of rich people still.
I don't see a mass exodus of rich folks if taxes in the City are bumped up a few %.
Some will leave, yes. But not as many like you'd think.

I remember Sean Hannity saying he paid 52% with federal,state and city income taxes,big reason why he left for Florida.

Ok...and if/when things are not better after paying that extra 2%...then what??
If you are already paying super high taxes, and things are crappier than places with less taxes...is throwing more money at it really the solution?

They want those honkies gone so they can turn NYC into a conquered moslim stronghold. Why so much foreign moslim money being poured into his campaign from the likes of the Qatari's. Even the CCP is backing him.

Next time we go to war with a ME country, can we please bring back internment camps? No one can ever prove to me that they didn't work during WWII. There were no more Japanese attacks on American soil after 12/7/41, correct? And there's no way anyone can say there still wouldn't have been without camps. Thus, the camps worked!

I agree, and i've definitely thought about this potentially being called for one day.
But it needs to be done at an airport with daily flights back to a place that fits their needs better.
Unfortunately, this heavy/slow take over by foreigners is getting to late to stop. And I don't see Trump/Vance truly taking care of what needs to be done.
