It does seem that between security and video surveillance they should be able to figure out what happened pretty quickly.
This should have been completed yesterday, asap, yet we must drag this out

Add to the fact that this is an impound race, not even crew members are allowed into the garage area after a certain time. No one can touch the cars until race day. Even more limited than normal tracks.

you want it solved, i'll solve it for you
its in a secure area public isnt allowed and full of cameras and security everywhere
bubba wallace (or one of his crew members/staff) hung it up to get attention for bubba to be talked about
there you go, the mystery has been solved

But, I doubt he has anything to do with it.

Has anyone seen a picture of this noose?
I mean, I wouldn't be surprised to see a piece of rope, tied in a loop with a slipknot around a shop area, but it would be quite a reach to call something like that" a noose".

Also, all stalls are adjacent to each other. There is no “privacy” to sneak in and do this without being seen by multiple people of at least another team. There are multiple team members, owners, etc around all the time.
Stalls at most tracks are open and there is enough pedestrian traffic someone could have slipped a noose out of their pocket and laid it down. Teams are around all the time, but they are busy with their own crap. Its not like they are looking around eyeing what people are doing.
I spent a season with an IRL team, fully credentialed going to every race for the week. I was in and out of the garages and pit during practice, qualifying, and race day. There is a limit to access but not so limited that someone couldn't have done this.
I am not saying it isn't a Jussie deal, just that security isn't Ft. Knox in the garage and pit.
My gut tells me this is either a Jussie move or some dumb arse redneck who won passes.

But not everyone is under the hood, under the car, inside the car. Someone from the public cannot waltz in unnoticed. And if someone else came in with another uniform.. it’s like they are a neon sign. Someone has a set of eyes on them because they are there to talk, say hi, ask a question, borrow a cup of sugar, something. Someone just doesn’t walk in, drop a freaking noose, and walk off unnoticed. Not possible when the stall is occupied. And very unlikely when it’s not due to the close working conditions.
It would be like walking into a bar where everyone there knows you, you walk through the bar, you walk up to the bar and lay a noose down, and you walk out without anyone noticing you. And also the cameras doesn’t pick you up.

No way in hell Richard Petty condoned this. Has anyone seen a photo? Who found it? Wallace? A team member?

The way FOX is milking the shite out of it, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a publicity stunt.

A team member. He alerted NASCAR officials. Wallace never saw it.
