Just in case you didn't know.

Steve Scalise voted yea on the spending bill. All other Louisiana representatives (minus Richmond of course) and both senators voted nay

Just an FYI, since it's a re-election year for Scalise.

Nobody is going after a shooting victim. He's back at work doing his job. If a constituent didn't the spending bill passed and he voted yes, his constituents deserve to know. He can stand up and take it like everyone else. If he wants to defend his position, he better start doing it quickly.

So getting shot has what to do with his vote on the spending bill exactly?

I don’t care if he got shot or not. No “conservative” should have supported this bill.

And let's not forget he is also the House WHIP, so he actually accounted for more yea's than his own, because it is his responsibility to direct the majority vote.

Thanks a lot Steve

Do you honestly think Scalise is going to lose his district because of this?

Unless the shooting caused him brain damage, I have no clue why he should get a pass.

Where did I give my opinion on whether or not he would be re-elected?

All I did was point out a fact about his vote (2 facts actually including the WHIP point out), and remind everyone he is up for re-election.

I am just a liberal passing by this train wreck. Why in the world would a shooting victim get a pass on a spending bill vote? Lol. Wow.

Maybe I should get one of my buddies to shoot me in the foot, and then I can run for congress and then just do whatever the hell I want with no ramifications because I was shot

The funny thing is the idiot Hail2michigan probably won’t even see all these reactions to his stupid comments and he will just start another subject, then again, and again. What an idiot.

At this point I’m considering now voting against Steve. I sent a letter to him last night telling him such and it’s just not me. I have several friends that feel the same.

Yep! What's the difference? Doesn't matter who's in congress anymore. They all want the same thing.

As the House WHIP, he is damn near restricted to a Yea vote. You simply cannot go out there twisting arms for votes and then cast yours the opposite way. Your line of thinking would restrict your representatives to NO LEADERSHIP positions.

Get out of here with your stupid bullshite.

All Conservatives should back Steve Scalise, as he is in a position to do the best he can for us and generally does a damn good job.
