The schools' lunches aren't making kids fat-asses. It's the fact that the kids sit around on their asses all day in class, then sit on their asses all afternoon after school while they browse their phones or play on line rather than playing outside that's causing the proliferation of lard-asses in our society. If anything, we should be re-instituting fitness standards in PE classes and reinstituting the Presidential Fitness Program. But in order for this to happen, parents need to spend some time actually raising their children and spending time with them rather than allowing computer and smartphone screens to babysit and placate the generation they have sired.
We've become a nation of leisure, and a nation of leisure rapidly becomes a nation of lard-asses.

If the majority of Americans would embrace some healthy dietary changes and a bit of physical activity a lot of chronic disease would subside.
BUT low income households who depend on SNAP and other government aid to survive will never focus on their healthcare. I've seen mother's load up cart after cart of high sugar, processed foods to feed their kids. Ramen noodle cups, bags of sugar cereal, pasta, rice, white bread, cheap fruit flavored drinks loaded with sugar, canned pasta are much cheaper than a cart of lean meats, vegetables, dairy products and fresh fruits.

yep - this is a little off-putting for me as well.
BUT - he got where he is now and certainly NEVER pretended to be anything other than what he is right now - a true narcissist.
BUT - a narcissist who works for the benefit of the nation, while expecting to be rewarded with lavish praise along the way.
I will be vigilant for any instance when he allows his desire for praise override his obligation to the country.
I am nowhere near smart enough or experienced enough to render anything approaching final judgement on the situation. As of right now I will fall back on my life-long "go-to" decision process = "Which of these two actions is LEAST EVIL?"
As it stands right now, accepting this fault in his character is by any measure a lesser evil than having the alternative in his position.
Besides - if everything were perfect, we'd already be in Heaven - and would have already missed out on all the 'fun' her on this earth. We have to roll with the punches - we never get all we desire.

Trump was left with a dumpster fire on his front yard - a dumpster than had been loaded with the shite of a real 4 year assault on logic, truth, morality, safety, prudence.
You expect him to get rid of all that crap and have a front lawn groomed to perfection in 3 months??
