1. America has real enemies. They are constantly working to destroy YOU and your way of life
Islam and Western democratic principles (individual liberty, equality, religious tolerance) are completely incompatible - and yet we have waged wars and sponsored regime changes to force Islamic peoples to accept them or die
why not let them run their societies as they see fit?
quote:like we passively stood by and allowed our immigration policy to welcome millions of people with those incompatible belief systems to take up residence on our soil
2. You either fight these fights on American soil or abroad. You don't get the option of "staying out of it." Eventually, these conflicts will reach domestic shores if we are passive.
the vast majority of US citizens would be unaffected by these conflicts if we hadn’t invited them here en masse
yeah, i know, too late to do anything about it now, but why willingly pursue policies espoused by the very type of thinking that brought the problem to our domestic shores in the first place?

There are 4.5 million Muslims in the United States. That's like the entire state of Louisiana.

Here's the entire post you're responding to. You mistakenly missed a few pieces.
"Man you're really defensive for a guy who's gonna get the war he wants. President Trump, Israel, The MIC and every politician in Washington funded by both agree with you.
We're going to war man. It's all good. Just take it easy homeboy. You've made a solid 22 year old argument for another Middle Eastern corporate war. It worked then, it works now".
War is coming man. You keep defending your position when you don't have to. All of the important people and people that matter agree with you.
You, the politicians, APAIC lobbyists, defense contractors and most of all, President Trump are all correct and the rest of us are wrong. And in their righteousness, we're getting a war that's for our own good.

It's hard to figure. There are about 100 Iranian students at LSU. The Iranian Ministry of Culture has even given awards to US writers.
Yet, they also are sponsors of terrorism. Seems that they can be cultured and savage at the same time!

if you feel this strongly are you willing to send your son/daughter die for this cause?

why the frick are you asking others to send their kids to die for something

they did not attack us, period

they have zero capability of attacking normal americans on american soil

What capabilities does Iran have on June 18, 2025 to attack normal Americans on American soil?
Note: attack does not include terrorism.

So are we. In fact, we have had to fight against many of the terror groups we created.

Well I'm not apologizing for jackshit. I don't apologize for an opinion, but in no uncertain terms, I'll gladly admit I was wrong. Gladly.
I voted for him for two reasons. Close the border and keep us out of war for a four year period. If he does those two things, he's met my expectations.

This could be stovepiped yellowcake BS. You have no idea. Do you remember how confusing it was to figure out what was going on prior to the Iraq invasion?

Well that settles it. We can all breathe easy. Stand down from Iranian threats
When is the last time Iranians attacked American soil

WHEWWWWWW. So glad that stopped 9/11. Can you imagine what would have happened if we didn't have an ocean to stop those people from infiltrating our shores and then executing a plan to destroy property and thousands of Americans?! Shoot, that might even could happen again. Heck, you never know, they might could even smuggle a dirty nuclear bomb into the country if it weren't for those fortuitous oceans
They wouldn't have been in our country had they not been let them in. You think they would have swam across the ocean? Had Trump's travel ban been in place then 9/11 wouldn't have happened.
If muslims are as great a threat as you say they are then why are you not proposing that we deport them all? That would be an easier and more cost effective way of eliminating their threat to our country than going to fight them over there.

Here's the entire post you're attempting to quote. You mistakenly missed a few pieces. Thanks for the opportunity to repost it..
"In all of these discussions I'm careful (unless it's in some way relevant) to never mention the Jewish faith. My observations and criticisms are directed at the nation state of Israel and it's Government.
But reading through this thread though, the OP is getting kind of pissed off and calling the rest of us stupid, and shite like that. Which is fine I guess, but he really should just relax and take comfort in the fact that President Trump agrees with him. Marco Rubio agrees with him. A host of American politicians agree with him. Every publicly traded defense contractor in this country agrees with him, and Israel agrees with him.
He's got alot of heavy hitting experts in his corner.
frick it, I'm sold. If all those other people, entities and groups agree with the OP, why shouldn't I?
You've got me OP. This is one of those rare instances when the poli-board changes a mind.
Now it's time for this"...

quote:You can't be serious. What is wrong with you? Do you think a 9/11 type attack is impossible given that we've let 20mil illegals across the border?
What do you think they can do to us?

whey haven't they been doing it?
I can't even comprehend how ridiculous your take is. Completely passive and reactive to an existential threat. Completely childish. Have you ever heard of the phrase "err on the side of caution"
