re: The left just ruins people…

I have run into friends that I haven't seen in years. In the past we didn't discuss politics. But now they are liberals and have their opinions about Republicans. One cited an article about Trump and Russia.. I asked what publication and they said Rolling Stone magazine... I called them a moron and haven't spoken to them since. I doubt I will speak to them any further.. It's not my choice...

In my dad’s case he just sits in front of the TV watching the same news channel all day, and gets more and more agitated. It’s really not good for him.

I’ve got some really great friends that run the political spectrum. In one particular friend group I’m liberal, but have some personal behaviors that would be considered conservative. Another friend is just left of center, but has some concerns about the left’s flirtation with Marxism, critical theory, and the power struggles being fueled by race and gender grievance. Another is sort of apolitical, but probably slightly left. Yet another is a Trump supporter, and up until recently, a big Andrew Tate fan. When we get together we all have a good time over food and drinks, and sometimes we get into heated discussions, but we all have a good time and respect each other.
