Reminds me of the oil worker who lost his job.

This election was not stolen because when you steal something you do it under cover

This election was taken meaning we know it. They know it and they know we know

Yet they are so much more powerful than we are they force our leaders to say the election was straight up.

The left is just flexing and the right is cowering and praying to be left alone.

Maybe if we submit enough the left will eventually find something else to do.

Somewhere in the memes thread there's a tweet from a soiboi who doesn't even bother trying to defend that position. He comes right out and admits it's hypocritical, but he doesn't care.

I took me about 40 years on this planet to figure that out, but yes this is true. That is why I no longer try to negotiate or convince these immoral/stupid people of anything.

Any political ideology that calls out the other for hypocrisy without recognizing their own is the height of self delusion.

Democrats are no more hypocritical than Republicans simply based on the fact both operate at peak hypocrisy

Conservatives are hypocritical about sex, which doesn't bother me much on a practical level. Do what you want behind closed doors.

But the Left is hypocritical about money. And that always ends up costing taxpayer money.

I get what you're saying, conceptually speaking. But in terms of degree....the left easily has the right whipped in the hypocrisy department.

They justify their hypocritical actions as being necessary to defeat extremism/hate/inequity/etc. People don’t seem to care about a rigged election as long as it was needed to defeat a tyrannical Nazi. People don’t mind Big Tech censoring voices of hate mongers who have nothing positive to say. Using racial preference is alright when it’s used to defeat racism.

They are the masters of self delusion, makes every hypocritical thing they say and do AOK

Sociopathic tendencies. I believe most every day conservatives do not wish bad things on those they disagree with even though they may say they do on social media. True Conservative beliefs do not align with narcissism. Your average conservative is just a guy trying to make his way in the world taking care of his and doing his best to live a good life.

Progressives and even liberals care more about other peoples opinions and themselves. They are filled with the traits of narcissists and sociopaths. Even though their platform is inclusion and love. But it’s not true. It’s a love of self and how others think of them. You can see their true selves with their actions. They do want to harm those who disagree whether it be through “cancelling” or physical harm. They may not act one on one because they are cowards. But they are very comfortable ruining lives in a crowd.

But dont expect it to be the key winning point.

If a politician is telling the public that a virus is so deadly and serious that their businesses have to be shut down, kids kept out of school and people have to wear masks and stay distanced, and yet you see the same politician out in a restaurant, not wearing a mask, not socially distancing and yuking it up with his friends, to me, that’s a huge and effective argument to say, he doesn’t believe what he preaches.

Well, they are all pathological liars and the their god is the author of deception.

So, there is that.

I hate to say this but I really do believe these people are mentally ill… The saddest part is that a couple of friends that I’ve known forever and we’re really close to have become like this.

yes it has an equalizing effect

basically you are reminding everyone that the person holding the position you are arguing against is only human

we already knew that, but if whoever you are trying to convince has assigned a god-like status to the someone who's position you are opposing, pointing that out can level things by re-humanizing.

Its helpful, but by itself isn't going to win any argument, and never has.

The Ruling Left can be equated to Pol Pot. They haven’t launched the Killing Fields yet because of the 2A, but they want to. They hate and despise us.

Well, that provoked some thought. I'm at an age when I've been called everything by at least one person. Just off the cuff:

Sarcastic
Sycophant
Bully
Uncaring
Selfish
Mean spirited
Condescending
Cheap
Naive

But I've never been called a hypocrite. Then I tried to think of something I did or said that would justify it and I can't. Thanks for the thought experiment.

I would say that dims used to be champions of free speech, but they have always been pro-cancel culture hypocrites. While Algore was trying banhammer Twisted Sister, a few years later, the dims were virtue signaling the NEA funding Robert Maplethorpe to photograph himself shoving bullwhips up his arse. Just to shove it decent peoples' faces. Now, the left is not hiding anything anymore and are trying ban political dissent.

Speaking of Algore, the Grand Wizard of the Global Warming Hoax, he lectured us on cutting down on our admissions whilst living in a 12000 sq./ft house and flying jets all over the planet. By the way, how many years are we over on Rush's Algore doomsday clock?

There was a guest on a tv program last night who made this point and it’s one I had never considered.
I assumed like most people, if they were shown to be hypocrites, they’d at least try and explain it away or rationalize it. But I think he has a point.
For the Left , they know they are being hypocrites, know that you know it, but don’t care. Not only don’t they care, they use their hypocrisy as a way of proving they are so superior to you, the rules don’t apply and they won’t be held accountable for their hypocrisy.
Plus, they take joy in knowing that their hypocrisy and their ability to get away with it when we can’t, is a source of frustration to us.
Thoughts?

Haven't I posted about this before?

More than a year ago, I commented about this: I read or heard an interview with someone very familiar with Totalitarian Regimes and how they operate to control their subjects. One key technique was to totally demoralize them into the subjugated belief that there was no way out - that they had no power whatsoever to change the ruling paradigm.

One tactic used by Regimes to reinforce that psychological dejection is to publish some outrageous lie in Official Government Media - something like: under the Party's guidance, an increase in agricultural production has increased One Thousand Percent in the current season. Now, this lie would be very apparent to every subjugated person in the Regime, but, nobody would dare challenge or question the obvious lie. Anybody who DID dare to do so would be attacked and punished by either their subjugated peers or the Regime itself.

When the Regime can revel in this kind of complete subjugation of their underlings - they derive joy from this knowledge - that the People have been so demoralized and psychologically dejected that they accept even the most obvious lies and falsehoods of the Regime's propaganda.

So, yes, the Left revels in their own ability to "get away with" being liars and hypocrites because this is an indication to them of the degree of Subjugation that they have achieved over their conquered populace.

The people of the USA have been soundly subjugated and psychologically conditioned to accept Leftist Subjugation.

More to follow. It will get worse as the decades of the 21st Century unfold.

Out.

In the book 1984, the government would cut something, like their chocolate ration for the week or month but insist it was an increase, and everyone had to go along with it.
