It didn't make them look like anything. That's what they actually are. It's a cult.

Sad that you are proud to admit that you are just fine with weaponizing government entities against your political opponents.

I didn’t say that and I have no political opponents.

What movie universe do you think you live in?

Screw this disingenuous BS! Context is important here. First as other have pointed out, many of these folks were rounded up after Trump left office. Furthermore if Trump does anything to give the left/Dems/media(all the same really) any ammo by helping J6 Protesters, the optics would be seized upon and run into the ground. For his sake, for the time being, he needs to keep a distance from that mess. No need in committing unforced errors of that nature.

Look I din't think the government should be going after a bunch of people who got a little carried away. But please stop pushing the narrative that the J6 protests were "peaceful" the second they started physically interacting with police it became less than peaceful. When they breached the Capitol it was not necessarily to go sightseeing for what amounted to a civics class excursion. Those people were idiots who allowed themselves to get riled up.

There should be some pain delivered to these fools. But certainly not the due process abuse that currently is being visited upon them. Offer them all Trespassing charge, fine them, force some community service and be done with it

Let me get this straight, Antifa, BLM, LGBTQ, and other activists can call for “protests” and cause untold damage and mayhem, but a former president can’t ask for people to protest on his behalf without it being characterized as violent protest.

He can ask for whatever he wants. That’s his choice.

He can frick off. That’s my choice.

If it even happens. I mean, we've heard Trump's arrest had been imminent for years now.

I'll believe it when I see it.

If by pain you mean them now being political prisoners, then pain is being delivered at lethal doses.

You can’t have it both ways.

He is either being targeted in a political hit job by a weaponized DOJ etc., or he isn’t.

You can still hate Trump while stating that he is the subject of gross overreach by a politically motivated hatchet man.

Ok fine. I said I wouldn’t protest on behalf of the man which is why the question was asked.

So?

I would suggest that the call to protest isn’t necessarily for Trump, but against government overreach.
His being victimized (yet again) is simply a catalyst for those that wish to protest.

FWIW, I don’t plan on protesting, but I understand those that wish to.

Again, non-violent protests are a core principle of our belief system.

How in the world is bringing up the fact you are supporting your political adversary being politically persecuted a strawman? You use a trite cliche without knowing what it means?

Apathy isn’t an admirable quality.

Most of the Trump supporters I know are hoping he's arrested.....we're hoping it helps to wake Americans up who are still in an inexplicable stupor.

He didn't tell them to do what they did. And it isn't his fault the DOJ and FBI have been weaponized by Joe Biden and the Democrats.
If you feel for them, start a GOFUNDME and contribute!
