... but also (what the left doesn't want to discuss) talked about the doctrine of stare decisis which allows judges to overturn old decisions.

Congressional hearing are under oath,
But they are free to change their mind on things.
An actual perjury charge would be difficult to prosecute. Usually it’s someone lying about something they did not what they’re going to do.
That being said I absolutely believe they were lying.

You have that backwards. Stare Decicis is the doctrine used to convince judges NOT to reverse old precedent.

If lying to Congress is now going to to actually be held up as a crime.. then when Comey, Clapper, Holder, Yellen, Garland are charged and have consequences, then I may care.. until then, they can STFU..

Did any of them actually address the question on whether they would overturn RvW? The Justices are usually incredibly resistant to answering hypos like that in confirmation hearings.
