Exactly. Same thing I pointed out around Thanksgiving.

All they did was bitch and moan about all kinds of stuff and completely forget about the nature of a holiday centered around…being thankful for the things you have and family/friends

No matter the poverty or wealth level, the happiest people are the grateful ones, the most miserable are the ungrateful ones.

Envy is a central driving force in the Human psyche; Helmut Schoeck wrote an excellent historical book documenting its power and the way society and culture reacted to it.

Although Shock did not address the philosophical/moral/religious dynamics as such relates to today’s culture war, IMO, the idea of Envy is central to the whole Creative Paradigm. The allegorical narrative of Lucifer being envious of God and desiring to be worshipped equally as God, sets the table for virtually endless “wailing and gnashing of teeth” in this particular Spiritual Realm. “The poor will be with you ALWAYS “, and bring envy with them. The Ten Commandments nws; or a hundred ‘commandments’ for that matter.

I've said this many times about progressives:

They hate you and want you dead, but they will do everything they can to fleece you before they dance on your grave. They need you way more than you need them. They literally cannot live the lifestyle they feel they deserve without stealing from those they hate.

There always has to be a “boogie man”. For the poor, it’s the rich. For the blacks, it’s whitey.

They will NEVER understand how the world works

The greediest people I have ever met are the poorest among us. Poverty is a curse and imo, willful poverty should be a crime.
