Had to pick up my youngest early from school today for severe weather. He's a junior in HS. Gets in the truck and says...…..really interesting English class today. Our teacher (black female) told us that for Black History Month, she wanted each of the white students go home tonight and ask their parents/grandparents where the "hanging trees" were located here in town.
You gotta love public school.

Tell him to tell the teacher the oak in your front yard was one and was last used two weeks ago.

Ok, a couple of questions...
1. What is an English teacher doing going on about Black History Month?
2. Why is she singling out white students? That’s more than a tad racist.

He should tell her that it lives in the imagination of racist public employees.

In Covington, it was the big oak out in front of the old jail/courthouse on Boston Street.
Next question.

Where in SC did this happen? What school?

Or just play the German/holicost card and say slavery never happened

have your kid answer:
"My Dad said after the civil rights movement, this man named Donald J Trump had these hanging trees cut down in order to build his Trump Tower...
now that he is President, he wants to plant 1 trillion new hanging trees"

"My parents asked if you don't have access to the internet."

Shouldn't it be the black students that need to be made aware of where the hanging trees are around town?
Just sayin...

Mine is in the backyard. I skinned a doe back there a couple of months ago.

Tell your son to bring a doll to her and ask her to point on the doll where slavery hurt her.
I would have been suspended if a teacher ever told me that shite

The white people need to be educated on why they are racist and evil beings...ignorance is no longer tolerated
