May be a dumb question, but is there a way to see how committee members voted? I want to see how Scott(GA) voted.

Program has been around for decades. When my great uncle died, my aunt had a heck of a time keeping her tobacco farm going and the county suggested the program.
She bought two mobile homes (govt regs said only 4 in a two bedroom trailer), hooked up power and water. Paid them the rate, which was higher than minimum. She give them grocery money and on Sundays they would use the phone and call home to their village, whole families there to talk to them.
She said they always worked more hours than required and no one loafed. Next season everyone of them returned and she bawled her eyes out. She said if you could have seen the lace tableclothes and things their wives had made for her, must have taken them weeks.
And yes I agree, those workers are fine.
Unfortunately its the NGOs "schooling" the laggards on how to milk the social systems that are killing us.

That sounds like a veto in the making.

Welcome to Reagan era Republicans. They will claim it’s only 11 million. When we have closer to 80 million plus illegals.
Fricking GOP stabs the people in the back again.

If this leads to being able to eat Taco Bell tacos without explosive diareah
Then so be it….
Then so be it….

who meet minimal agricultural work history requirements.
How is this determined if they’re undocumented?
It will be abused and used a runaround to grant blanket amnesty to millions

No, that is false. The bill does not grant citizenship or create a path to naturalization
While this may be true, here is a real world problem:
In Florida, oranges and other citrus needs to be picked. People are brought across the border and sent to FL to pick the fruit. The season ends and these people just stay here. Illegal.
How do we return them?

The committee is chaired by and the bill sponsored by Glen Thompson, a PA 'republican', who assumed this role as Chairman due to Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise as heads of the steering committee then.

Ronald Reagan who is one of the biggest false prophets of the conservative movement provided amnesty to ~3 million illegals.
Carter and Reagan were who really started the mass invasions of Illegal Immigrants and it really hasn't slowed since. And yes, Trump deserves absolute credit for trying to stop the flow unlike previous administrations.
People point to Hart-Cellar is what changed demographics. It wasn't that it was the mass invasion(s) allowed by Carter and then Reagan as the demographic shift didn't start noticeably until 1980 onward. 15 years of Hart-Celler didn't change it much.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but explosive "diareah" is gonna happen-- it's the reality of being human. The worst explosive "diareah" I ever suffered was the last week of December, 1957-- and it wasn't due to Taco Bell. It was painful bacillary dysentery -- due to the contaminated water system in Long Beach, MS.

It’s access to work visas not citizenship.
