Oh no! Oh the humanity!

Aren't there laws to dictate how you handle the bullets you use to kill terrorists! Oh! Oh God! Please make sure you don't mishandle the bullets you use to kill psychotic terrorists!

Has the media preached "lone wolf, doesn't reflect all Muslims, nothing to see here" hypocrisy yet?

I'd love to see some side by sides of the headlines Charlottesville v. Barcelona. Bonus points if they are by the same news org/reporter

Maybe you should take the word of the historians of all major American universities who have dedicated their lives to the study of this. It's not up for debate because it simply did not happen. Y'all know it didn't happen. Hell, I even wish it had bc the story is awesome if it were true. But it simply isn't true and Trump is spitting on the grave of an American general by claiming it.

So where the historians say that the evidence is slim and states a man that was his soldier is likely the source. We juat believe everyone that read a book about it instead?

Would something like this ever be public record? Did people do shite in war like rape and pillage throughout history? Its certainly not impossible that this occured.

So, is this like the global warming thing? Where some say its true and other say it isn't with no real way to prove any of it?

See how well these Trump tweets work ?

Trumps tweet hits the eardrums of his supporters as " we need to hit Islamists like stronger men in earlier times when men were men and Americans were bold and decisive ".

They hit Trump haters eardrums as " this isn't true it never happened this isn't true "...

And the Scott Adams persuasion arc is then complete. Doesn't matter how desperately teams of historians deconstruct it's veracity. It comes across to Millions as "Trump is tough on terrorism, and Dems are soft. "

Works every time. Trump reinforces what millions love about him and agitated his opponents to distraction and over- explanation and to the point where people resent their prissiness. You may be revolted by what I just explained, but if you doubt it's true, you don't understand basic human psychology.

This isn't ancient times. Records are very detailed. Historians don't just read books, moron. They comb through archives, memos, letters, military documents and records in which everything is recorded. The military records practically every bullet fired and you somehow think this happened? Lol... It's not even close. This story was a hoax and only an idiot on Trumps level would repeat it without checking the facts.

It certainly could be false. Im saying its an outright lie to say it didnt occur with complete certainty.

quote:

Other historians agreed that the evidence is thin, to say the least

How can evidence remotely be "thin" if it has been proven false?

Did the letter really exist?

Was this soldier not under his command?

All you have to do to say its false is prove the above 2 to be wrong.

Im not going to trust.. well this guy wrote that 60 years later....

The general was a good man at heart..

What type of proof is that?
