When the chips were down, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined The Federalist in its successful lawsuit against the Biden administration for illegally censoring us.
John Cornyn didn’t do a thing to help, but he did call me a Nazi sympathizer for calling shenanigans on his idiotic Ukraine war propaganda.

I hear, though he has plenty of bullets, his aim is quite sharp.

Paxton is widely regarded as a scummy scammer. The opening might be there for the Democrat.

Am I misreading or not comprehending what this thread is about?

I mean, it's possible... but... so is me banging Sydney Sweeny tonight.

You people have been saying this since 2008.

Well, these Articles of Impeachment were adopted in May of 2023 on a 121-23 vote, with 60 Republicans in favor as 23 opposed. That isn't Reddit.

I like that he and the two women are the only ones masked up.

Everyone knows the GOPe hates Paxton. They’ve tried getting rid of him for many, many years. Democrats have tried to put him in jail for many, many years. They’ve all failed.
I still appreciate him ending the political life of the GOPe Prince George P Bush.
Took him head on and ended him.
And it wasn’t that close.

I get what you’re saying. You have no chance with Sydney Sweeny.
But joking aside, generating voter turnout for the under 45 crowd is the real battle.
Edit - screwing people over doesn’t exactly sell to people who are currently getting screwed out of their jobs and pocketbooks…

Widely? In some circles maybe... But not as widely as your a-hole is also an opening for Democrats.
I've known about the attempted impeachment but really hadn't looked into them until you posted the article. As written, they look weaker than I thought... no wonder the attempt to impeach him failed.

I’m really needing a 3rd party option these days…

The GOP will be seismically shifted when the hunting from ‘26 and ‘28 is complete.

I haven’t spent any time trying to figure out if the impeachment charges had merit or not. But one thing for sure, if 60 fellow Texas republicans vote in favor of bringing the charges, that means that this guy is not well regarded among Texas republicans. That is the opening.
